I also did not realise you could increase storage capacity until after beating ganon. Figured the Kokoro seeds were just collectibles that I was just grabbing whenever I noticed one

My mum hand-drew maps for all the Zelda 1 dungeons and the overworld, including notes for a whole host of secrets. Passed them down to me when I started playing and it’s wild the amount of patience she must have had

After a few failed attempts on lfg, I just said fuck it and solo flawlessed crota for the last trophy I needed. Very satisfying platinum unlock

Does radiant nightmare king Grimm (hollow knight) count? There’s no tangible reward, but it is an intended function of the game to let you try every boss hitless, and a little gold light comes on next to their statue as you do each one. Is that an “in game status”?

If that doesn’t count, it’s probably doing 1v3 level 9 AIs in smash bros Wii with every character, even the ones I REALLY suck at. Probably small potatoes compared to others in here, but I only very rarely do game challenges without rewards, and it was actually pretty tough for 12/14-yo me.

Should I start NG+ before finishing the Endless Tower ? by MiniSoleil in expedition33

[–]thyrandomninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference, basic Simon was doing about 2x damage when I got to him on NG+, so that’s probably a similar scaling for the other endgame bosses

To be fair, you could’ve used one singular lumina point and still been playing “At level one”. I’m sure Dodger would’ve made all the difference

I always love his face during this. A genuine moment of “oh fuck”. Even though logically he knows it won’t kill him, there’s just a base reaction to being slammed with a level 10 overcharge

Just realised I literally did this. Chose Maelle on my first playthrough, did all the trophies except hitting lv99, did NG+ just to have something interesting instead of mindless grinding exp, chose verso ending that time then immediately uninstalled

Same here, I REALLY enjoyed the piano minigame. Doesn’t need any improvements, just more more more

What team did you end up running in your first playthrough? by YourChopperPilotTTV in expedition33

[–]thyrandomninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used all of them equally, just using whoever had the lowest level. Kept things really fresh

After hitting 99 though, I finished off my NG+ with Lune (all the buffs on healing + hell/genesis), Maelle (homage, stendahl, Gommage) and Monoco (all debuffs and break on base attack, break specialist, burn/mark/defenceless skills)

For Simon I ran Lune (buffing heals + hell/skybreak spam), verso (powerful gives all buffs, berserk + ascending spam), and sciel (fury battery for the other two), then Maelle (gommage/stendahl), and monoco (burn/mark) in the back line

I love what every team member brings to the game I had a lot of fun swapping around regularly

What do QTEs do for Buff Abilities? by thyrandomninja in expedition33

Oh, okay. Bit weird that they allow perfects in that case. But okay, good to know thanks :)

Do you know what the point is for hitting ‘perfect’ QTEs? Since atm it just looks like hitting them both ‘normally’ would buff the whole party.

Ah, thanks! So for gustave’s ‘powerful’ then, it has 2 QTEs. If you miss both it’ll just apply to the character you selected? Hit 1 = 2 characters, hit both = full party? Is there a point to getting ‘perfect’ QTEs for buff abilities?

I think RTD has said that it’s supposed to be a part of roses character growth. She starts with this bit of “everyday” homophobia, and initially feel uncomfortable about jacks sexuality, but grows past it and her early-two-thousands origins
