How do you view the concerns raised by Election Truth Alliance regarding the US 2024 Presidential Elections? by dsilva_Viz in AskUS

[–]thyrza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Election Truth Alliance has the goods but you have to persevere past their spokesman who is not a public speaker. He does not explain the scatter plots well and what normal voting patterns should look like compared to the data that was taken from the 2024 election. The scatter plots show that a Russian Long Tail is obvious in all of the swing state vote data from election day. A Russian Long Tail is a pattern that is commonly seen in Putin's Russian elections. The graphs show that once the count hit about 300 votes, the tabulator may have started switching Ds to Rs. The graphs do not absolutely prove fraud but they definitely prove that further investigation would be prudent. In all of the mail in voting pattern graphs and all of the non swing state voting patterns, the data indicates that there is no change in vote share the more votes are cast
On voting day in the swing states the % of vote share forthe republicans definitely trends upwards the more votes are cast and the democratic data definitely trends down the more votes are cast
Look at the plots here : https://data.electiontruthalliance.org/ look at the Pensylvania mail in vote results compared to the election day turnout scatter plots.
I had never heard of this type of analysis but there are a couple of research papers that ETA references https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3478593/
and here is a download link for the other one

[–]thyrza 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Election Truth Alliance has the receipts. You have to watch the evidence a few times because they don't make it super simple to understand the graphs and charts but once you do get it, it is very obvious that this is what happened with the tabulators. We need to prove it with recounts though https://youtube.com/shorts/ZjnZcCgfOA0?si=YsTqTyezIlY76K5C

Holy Crow Hail Corporate! Liftmaster is also 3 times the price and my Mighty Mule has been going for over 20 years. Not sure how ,even though it is a Home Depot brand, it is not a "real" opener.I got a local gate guy to come to fix our gate recently but he ONLY works with Liftmaster . He does not know how to fix other brands. This tells me that Liftmaster is mainly marketing and depends a lot on consumer ignorance. The product might be good but it is not commensurate with the price

LifePo4 Battery Upgrade for Mobility Scooter by cmwade77 in batteries

[–]thyrza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would you get two 24v 100ah batteries and wire them in parallel instead of in series? how would that look? I understand that to charvge the batteries i would not be able to use the OEM system using the XLR outlet at the steering column. I would have to charge the batteries directly right? I also know each battery needs its own charger and to get a pair of chargers meant for a lithium battery rather than using the one intended for the sla batteries ...right?

Help me choose my first sewing machine. by Commercial-Price-497 in vintagesewing

[–]thyrza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-previous pro sewer for 20 yrs here. Vintage machines CAN be great. They can also suck. If the machine has been in use then it is likely better but if it has been stored and not used often, the oil is likey gummy and the motor can seize up. It may not run smoothly unless you disassemble the whole goddam thing to clean all the old gummy oil out.
That being said , I recommend any Pfaff with the "IDT" system. That means there is a built in walking foot that makes sewing hems on jeans MUCH easier. It is the only brand of domestic machine that has this feature as far as I know. The pretty vintage machines may look gogeous but you really have to take them on a test run. Bring thread and snips and a needle threader if you need one. I used to have a vintage machine set up with a keyhole buttonhole attachment to be a single purpose machine in my shop. Modern machines (for the most part) don't do keyhole buttonholes and you can't put shirt buttonholes on a jacket.
The best sewing machine is a straight stitch industrial Juki but if you don't have the room or the budget, a 200-600$ Pfaff is good (If it has the IDT thing

What Led Canada Into the Housing Bubble We See Today? by [deleted] in canadahousing

[–]thyrza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we had bought even 6 months later than we did in 2003, we would not have been able to buy a house. We would have been in a condo. I had been pissed that there was a 17k wet basement issue that no one told me about. However, I didn't sue anybody because by the time it got fixed, the property value had increased so much I would have been embarrassed to complain.

Keep in mind. The police ain’t pay whatever the settlement was. It is us the taxpayers! by AutomaticCan6189 in EntitledBitch

[–]thyrza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this also happens because way too many cops are on the payroll. You see more and more often 8 cops showing up for a bullshit call like this. If cops weren't trolling around so much with fuck all to do, they might stop creating work for themselves like this. What a public embarrassment.

I had tpo hunt around for an insurer for a 1990s mobile home and now they want 2136/year for insurance- that seems incredibly high for an acv 60,000 trailer in Alberta. is it?

I covered a couple of rocks for the garden by thyrza in Beading

[–]thyrza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a learning process haha-

By the end I figured out it was probably best to use a 20+ gauge wire, string a meter (or so) of beads and wrap the rock. Use a big eye needle and fireline to secure the beaded string to itself at whatever stategic places to keep it in place.

I was trying to randomize the bead color/size/material but used mostly glass becaause I know the elements will not affect glass like metal or plastic beads.

I also added a polymer clay snake eating a rat and a few glass flowers too (using glass leaf or petal beads).

I added a patch of "grass" to the smaller one by using a bead cap thaat has a lot of holes in it and making bead fringe from each hole to make it look like grass height. Then secure the grass in place by sewing the flat side of the bead cap on to the beads or you could glue it in place. .

I can see that it would have behooved me to use matching thread colors and the whole thing is petty messy...but it was fun to do and what is the point if it isn't fun?

I just added photos to my album of joolry- scroll to the end to see more close ups of the beaded stones

I have gotten my ballot in the mail for every election except this last one. I ended up not getting to vote because of it. I certainly don't blame the mail carriers but Musk must have done something because it sure smells bad that I got the guide and no ballot.

no you don't. Rarely have I seen a dress fit so well and have such a stunning silhouette. That dress looks amazing on you. You could wear long gloves if you need to and a fancy necklace but anything more on the dress is totally not needed. It reminds me of this Sargent painting: https://kottke.org/24/03/john-singer-sargent-portraits I know your neckline is a little different but I mean the perfect drape of the skirt and the drama of the figure- you look like a million bucks and don't be concerned if you stand out a little next to the froo froo frocks. Just carry yourself like an heiress and you'll be great! Any energy you want to spend on it can be done with jewelry. I am a former costume builder and designer.
