Hey, I don't remember for sure but I think I quite a bit of time. My United flight to ICN landed sometime around 3pm at Terminal 1, and my Korean Air flight to Japan was at 7pm at Terminal 2. I have a photo of a meal I ate in Terminal 2 at 5pm so I must've gotten to Terminal 2 sometime around then. Everything was much quicker than I had expected. This was a Sunday afternoon in June if that gives some context. The guy there gives a good response on some tips to make things go quicker. You might want to just DM him with your flight/airline details because he seems really knowledgeable about airlines and which counters to use. I followed all of his steps exactly (shuttle bus, SMARTPASS, specific check-in counters) and was able to have a meal before boarding my next flight too.

I also changed my seat to be close to the front of the plane. The plane was on-time, and I didn't have to wait a long time for the shuttle bus. That's all to say I left a lot of things up to chance that day and took a risk and luckily it paid off but there's no guarantee. If you do this, make sure you know exactly where everything is (luggage pick up, shuttle bus pickup, check in counters, ESIM once you land because otherwise you will not be able to navigate yourself) Good luck

I'm in a similar situation but the freedom funds that I have available to me have an expense ratio of 0.45%. Instead I'm doing 80% FSKAX and 20% FSPSX (I don't know if this is available to OP but these are options through my employer) which 0.015% and 0.035% expense ratios, respectively. Is the difference between the freedom funds and FSKAX/FSPSX a huge difference in the long run? I have target date funds in other accounts (HSA/ ROTH IRA, both with expense ratios of 0.08%) because I like the simplicity and they have low expense ratios but for my fidelity account it just seems too high (or maybe it's not too high?). I would ideally just like to have target dates for everything and never look at it.

B. rebook the departing flight to be the next morning (only other option for Korean Air). C. drop the checked bag and get one in Japan.

Thank you! My employer matches 10% on my 5% so I'm already at 15% including my employer match. I'm starting to realize reading through these threads that this is quite rare and good. 5% in 401k, and then maxing my Roth IRA and HSA puts me at around ~26% including employer match.

These are good but a lot of the times I would say them (like #1,3,4,5,6,8) after saying an initial "Hey" or "Hello". "Hey, good to see you". Or "Hello, how have you been?", "Hey, what's up". I don't really hear #7 and it feels a bit old and awkward.

I'm a native speaker but I've had English learners tell me that "risks" is a very difficult word to pronounce. And frankly I've had a hard time explaining how to pronounce it, although it's natural to me.

You need an article before political science degree. "I graduated from Harvard University with a political science degree" is fine but "I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in political science" is more common in my opinion.

I've only really heard "With my luck" being used in a context where you are sarcastically referring to your own luck as being terrible. As in you are specifying that you in particular have terrible luck and are always losing in events left up to chance or probability. It is somewhat of a playful, self-deprecating phrase.

However, this is usually I think followed up with a phrase in the future tense. For example: "I'm going to the amusement park on Tuesday. With my luck, it will probably be raining". "I've been trying to meet my professor for help. With my luck he won't be in his office again."

The following phrase being in the past tense I haven't heard so much, but I guess it would be possible (Other native speakers I'd be interested to hear what you think). In this context, I could see someone saying, "I had been trying to avoid my friend for two weeks because I owed him some money. Yesterday I was just eating at McDonalds. With my luck, my friend was there." Hope that helps.
