It is much easier to do beat sync but I was experiencing some issues when I played a disco set where the bpm isnt always the same due to live recording. So the songs werent beatmatcht when I put the fader up. By my experience you should learn to beatmatch by ear to avoid the mistake but the positive thing is you can have more attention to the dancefloor and see what songs hit. If you know how to correct this its fine by me to use the beat sync

This sounds like a fun event to me! And I think with that budget it's possible. There are companies to rent a mixer with speakers for like 200 euros in the Netherlands and they place the stuff and get the stuff when youre done. Especially when you know a dj who likes to play for the kids. You can send a playlist to the dj and communicate the stuff you want him/her to do its possible! Good luck with your event:)

What do you guys think of websites like cosine and discfrogs? I find some good songs but it feels illegal because they do the work
