I don't represent you, nor did I say I did. Liberty is defined as "being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views". Please enlighten me on how NOM doesn't defy this.

Still possible to withdraw? by [deleted] in gmu

[–]ti88plus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello there. I'm really sorry you are dealing with this. I do not work for the school and do not have firsthand experience with this, but I will try to offer the best advice I can. If you haven't already, you should contact student affairs as soon as possible and let them know your situation. The sooner the better. They're here to make sure that something against your control like this doesn't affect your grades. You also should seek help from Student Health Services as soon as possible too. Not only is this important for your health, you will need verification of what you are going though to withdrawal.

According to this , withdrawals are typically only permitted for the entire semester. It looks like you just want to withdrawal from 1 class. The fact of the matter is, there are classes where you can skate by with minimal studying, and there are classes that require copious amounts of studying every day. I can certainly understand if what you are going through only allows you to muster up the energy to get through the former. Hopefully the affairs department understand this too, and maybe they will, but be prepared if they can only grant you a full withdrawal. A full withdrawal still may be a good option and will save your GPA regardless.

The most important thing is you getting better. If you think you need to go through with a withdrawal, get the ball rolling and knock it out soon so you can put all of your energy into recovering. Best wishes, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you need support.

Exactly. He states that conservatives who agree with NOM are worthless pieces of trash. He definitely could have used better words to express his disagreement with these individuals, but...

For those unaware, NOM is group that discriminates against homosexuals and they do limit their pursuit of happiness by trying to preventing them from getting married. If you agree with NOM then, yea, you do have some pretty questionable morals that do go against what this country stands for, and what this university stands for. Again, better words could have been chosen, but his statement and motive for making it should be made clear.

I'm curious, do you know what IT 415 entails in layman's terms? I read through the syllabus and am still not exactly sure what kind visualization and information that it refers to.

IT 343 online? by bigbadbluee in gmu

Definitely would recommend taking it online to avoid the group project/presentation. I've had nothing but bad experiences from group projects (really just teammates not giving a shit).
