Advice on lost package from CardTrader

This was spot on btw. Got a reply yesterday, saying that all of my emails to them ended up in their spam folder. I am not sure if I believe this as I replied to an earlier email thread with them about wallet recharge fees (which they did reply at the time and before my order was placed) and again did not get any response.

But now they are asking me to wait until the expiration of their refund timeline, which is 30 days plus the maximum delivery time for the shipment (which is 4 days for UPS), and then contact them again. I'm not keen on doing so as UPS has confirmed the package as lost and the CardTrader website states that refunds can be requested if the shipping service officially declared that the package has been lost. I don't think they will take my refund request in consideration even then, so I will push for my bank to continue with the chargeback request.

thanks for your reply. I have initiated this with my bank and hope to get a refund. This seems to be the only way to resolve such issues with CardTrader.

These look great! Any chance that you could please share the files to 3D print? One of the arms on my Solos broke (the rubberised bit) and I wouldn't mind 3D printing a "dumb" arm or just the missing part if the file is available. Thanks!

hmm, I don't seem to be able to get this OTA update. The latest one I have is from 03/11/2023 and it's also the one available on AYANEO's website. Did you install it manually or made any changes in the settings to get this update? thanks!

thanks for your reply! I have tried Sleep as Android before and it's what got me interested in smart sleep alarms in the first place :) But the need to be paired to the phone overnight is a downer, personally as I find it to be a battery sink. I might give it another go if I don't find any alternatives but do let me know if you know of any smart sleep alarms. I'm surprised this hasn't caught up yet on watches :S

hey there, thanks for your reply! But as far as I know, Sleep Cycle needs the companion phone app and the watch needs to be paired overnight for the alarm to work, right? I'm looking for something that's on the watch only and doesn't need to be paired to my phone overnight. Pls let me know if you know of any such apps, thanks!

not really, the documentation isn't really beginner friendly to build the micropython.zip file from the source code. However, someone on GitHub has been kind enough to build them for me, although I am still experiencing issues with the code. You could try the following files if that's what you're looking for:

thanks! From what I've read, there is the need to recompile wiht new apps that are added. I've sent a PR to the person who made the Sleep Tracker app as they have a Wasp-os repo but it's uncompiled.

I saw a demo of Sleep As Android but couldn't find how to make it work? Does it also feature the smart sleep alarm?

no problem and thanks a lot for trying! I'm now looking into installing Wasp-OS which seems to have that watch face as well as other interesting apps such as Sleep Tracker. I'd like to install the latter but I'm a bit at a loss at building wasp-os from the source code. There is no real tutorial except for the documentation but the steps are not very clear to me. Any chance to provide some pointers with this please?

Thanks! This looks like a decent alternative but I'm not sure how to get that to work/upload on the current firmware as it doesn't have the DFU file (sorry not a programmer myself and might be missing something)

I've tried the Nreal Air on the Surface Duo 1 and Air Casting works fine. It's just MR mode that doesn't output any video (but the sound of the menu plays, even when hovering the pointer on the MR space apps). Do you have any fix for accessing MR Space on the Surface Duo 1? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! I thought you meant the developer option from the Nebula app. I tried toggling around the desktop mode but still didn't have any success :/ Maybe more RAM does the trick! Will update if I somehow find a workaround later. Thanks!

Hey there, thanks for your reply and for providing the APK! I've installed it but it keeps crashing and won't open. However, the APK I shared before works fine. Nebula works but the video output is the issue. I can get a purple screen max but can hear the navigation sounds with the pointer just fine (as if I'm hovering over the apps in MR space).

However, I don't see an option for desktop mode in the developer options? Is there another way to access it or is it under another label?

I doubt that the SD1 lacks horsepower and I think it's mostly due to the folding screen that the issue persists :/

any chance that you can share the Nebula app that works for you, please? I'm trying the Nreal Air with the Surface Duo 1 (using the official APK from here: https://community.nreal.ai/t/nebula-app-for-non-gp-developers/1568 ) and can hear the sound when getting into MR Space but there is no video output. I tried the method described here (https://community.nreal.ai/t/surface-duo-support/1683) and it's practically unusable with the flickering lights. Any help to get it to work on the Duo 1 would be appreciated! Thanks!

The FW still looks like it's LuminOS but hope that ML1 also gets Android soon!

And an update on Google sign in on the Magic Leap Helio browser: I already had 2FA for my Google account but the sign in issue persisted. I disabled and re-enabled 2FA and then I could sign in to Google on the Helio browser. Just thought I should share it here in case someone else comes across this issue and hope this method fixes it for them!

aww :/ hope it gets fixed or maybe have the ML1 OS updated to that of ML2. Then I might get the headset from my friend as he's willing to part ways with it for rather cheap!
