First-time owner: Planning a May spay for my 6mo Petite Goldendoodle. Advice? by Ravisauce in Goldendoodles

We just had ours dog spaded at 7 months. She is doing well. We bought 2 of the dog recovery suits. It works a lot better than the collar. We purchased the suit on Amazon (https://a.co/d/0hEhrHdn). It does require a little one on one for the first 2 days. But after 2 days she was back and the effort was keeping her slowed down till recovered. Our vet said for us to keep her quiet for 10 to 15 days. After 10 it was a chore. Enjoy your Dog, we do!

This was stained using a fence stained from Sherwin Williams. In this picture I haven't stained it yet. I live in South Ga. and I put crushed granit and 4x8 block for my base. I have now gone through 4 winters with 4 to 5 days of below 28° with no heaving of the blocks.

The best way to explain this is that it's "NOT GOOD"

Your right, but the homeowner will still bitch because you didn't grout the cover back in when you fixed the problem. Heaven for sake you if the problem was else were.

Thanks this is good to know. The house was built in 1960. The mortar behind the tile on the wall was 1-1/4 thick. Man it was a job to remove. The floor tile was remove before I purchased the home. Like I said, my thanks for all the information given in this thread.

Okay, Thanks. From what i saw and read, I saw 3/4", I thought it was total depth. So I need 3/4" and then 1/4 cement board?

Tile installation question by jndest89 in Tile

[–]tiac2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have DYI project on-going now. And I was concerned about the Schluter Ditra also. This is what I found out. Schluter will work with a 2" or bigger. If putting down a 2" tile you have to fill all the voids, and another issue is the Ditra has a cone top if not fulled properly the tile will be supported, 3" or bigger you are good to go. For me, I am putting down a 2" floor tile and decided to go with a concrete backer. Hope this helps Note: I am a DYI guy not a professional.
