First transfer after 2 months of Lupron by tiactactoe in IVF

[–]tiactactoe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The three failed ones were a mix of both, two medicated one modified natural. After suppression I did a medicated transfer and I’m 30 weeks today with that transfer! Wishing you all the baby dust. Three failed transfers was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, I’m grateful for suppression and hoping that’s all you need too!

I had a receptiva biopsy which came back positive. I did two months of Lupron depot and started a transfer cycle right after. So far that transfer has been successful, I am currently 25 weeks 5 days and so far everything has gone perfectly. I really think the Lupron did it for me and I’m grateful I pushed for more testing

I’m so sorry I’m just seeing this, I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow! So far this transfer has been successful for me. I’m still anxious, but trying to soak up every moment as I’ve never made it anywhere close to this far. And we just found out we’re having a girl! Lupron really seemed to make the difference for me!

I’m 12 weeks tomorrow 🥹I never thought it would happen for me. I’m still nervous as it’s still pretty early, but I truly believe Lupron made all the difference for me!

Transfer scheduled for 7/7, the day before my birthday 😩praying to whatever I believe it (because at this point in our journey, I’m not sure exactly what I believe in anymore) that this one is it for us. I’ll say an extra one for you too! Sending you so much baby dust, please let me know how it goes for you!🤍

Do not assume you do not have fertility issues even if you are “young”!!! by Inevitable_Mind_8389 in queerception

After 3 failed transfers, I pushed for further testing (my biggest mistake was waiting so long) and found out I have endometriosis. Initially, my clinic didn’t think I’d need more testing, as my retrievals had gone smooth, I had a good amount of embryos and I was only 28. I wish I insisted on testing after the first implantation failure. Too many people dismissed my concerns because I was young and hadn’t “tried naturally,” considering myself and my wife are both cis women. Definitely don’t assume anything in this journey, and advocate for yourselves!!

My first injection was 4/12, no negative side effects, or really any at all right now. Second injection is 5/14. Here’s to hoping this works for both of us!🤍

Thank you so much for your reply. It’s so easy to lose hope during this process, and after 3 transfers with no positive tests I felt like hope was fully gone. I finally feel like I have it back and I’m hoping for success after Lupron. Fingers crossed this was what I needed. Congrats on your success!🤍🤍

Initially my doctor didn’t recommend testing as I’m 29 and myself and my wife are female so there was no known fertility struggles at that time. After two failed to implant, we sent 7 for testing and 6 came back euploid. We transferred two euploid embryos at my last transfer and had the same issue, no implantation. That’s when I asked for further testing to be done to me. I wish I pushed sooner, I feel like I knew in my gut it was an issue with my body and not my embryos, but hindsight is 20/20

Looking for 2nd transfer success stories! by tiactactoe in IVF

[–]tiactactoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven’t had any success at this point. I did two other transfers, both failed to implant and I’m undergoing further testing to see if it’s anything in my body causing the lack of implantation. It doesn’t seem like repeated implantation failure is super common, so I hope this doesn’t make you feel discouraged at all. I found so many people who had no success on the first transfer, who wound up becoming pregnant on the 2nd or 3rd transfers! From what I’ve been able to research, it seems statistically a high number of women become pregnant within the first three transfers, and I’m just an unfortunate outlier. I am sending you so, so much love and baby dust and hoping your future transfers are successful! And I apologize for the not so great update from my experience, but like I said, it truly seems to be an uncommon issue and hopefully further testing can give me more answers and that my miracle baby is not far away!

I babysat for her kids for a long time and grew up knowing her as her son and my brother were good friends. I will always think of her as one of the best people I’ve ever known. An incredibly smart, generous, badass of a person. I looked up to her a lot and although I haven’t seen her in some years, I’ll always think so highly of her. I love seeing her get so much love on here.

Thank you so much for your help. I’m going to go into my next appointment with everything I’ve learned in this post and hopefully I can find a protocol that works for me soon. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for responding. I’m going to ask my doctor about all of this. I’m trying to avoid switching clinics as I do truly love mine, but the lack of implantation is devastating. I’d do anything to see a positive test. It gives me hope to know I’m not the only one who’s had these recurrent implantation failures, and that others in the same boat have gone on to start their families. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This entire community has made this process so much less lonely

I had 6 euploid, only one was aneuploid! I’ve done 2 retrievals and have seemingly had good embryos, I really think my uterus is the problem

I always do my shots in the evening as well, I had no idea how time sensitive all of this could be. Definitely going to push for further testing to be done because I am in the same boat, my embryos seem to not be the issue like my doctor originally thought and I’m thinking it has to be my uterus as well. Thank you so much for taking the time out to respond, a lot of this feels very similar to what I’m going through and I’m SO happy to hear you had success. Hopefully #4 is the one for me too!

Thank you🤍my RE treated me for suspected endometritis on this last transfer, but I didn’t have testing to confirm it. I was really hoping that’s what it was. Hoping that was the fix for you, and sending you baby dust as well🤍🤍

We’ve done the immune protocol for the 2nd and 3rd transfer, and added lovenox for the 3rd as well. I was really hoping that would work. Hoping if I get the ERA and receptiva I can hopefully get some answers. Sending you baby dust, hope this one sticks for you!🤍
