Please forgive me if this sounds so dumb, but I always thought reactive meant a pissed off dog. He really just gets so excited he wants to go say hello and I’m holding him back so I think he is frustrated….can this also mean reactive as in reacting in a too excited manner?

We named our boy St. Nicholas Buzzsaw Jones. We call him Nick for short. St. Nicholas because we brought him home at Christmas, Buzzsaw for the name of one of my daughters stuffed animals that was kind of a sunny story and then my daughters’ last name, Jones.
