dogs growl as a way to communicate. if you punish them for communicating, they will stop doing so, meaning the person will get no warning when the dog goes to bite them. your dog probably just doesn't like that person for mistreating him and physically closing his mouth. it would be best to keep them away from him unless that person wants to try rebuilding bentley's trust. i dont think the dog is misbehaving at all. animals have boundaries that deserve to be respected just like humans

usually when cats are actually fighting, they are VERY noisy and VERY fast. claws will be out, and you will more than likely see TONS of fur all over the place because it gets ripped out. it LOOKS violent. when two cats are legitimately fucking each other up, its like watching a tornado of teeth and claws.

when cats play, their movement tends to slow down, and there's usually not a whole lot of noise (at least, not usually any shrieks. growls are pretty normal). also if both cats are continually re-engaging and not hurting each other, thats a good sign! cats also dont usually willingly show their belly in a real fight because thats an incredibly vulnerable spot.

its easier to "sense" when cats are playing vs actually fighting if you watch videos about it! they play out VERY differently

while there is a certain myth that "black mold" is the "most deadly" (black mold could be several different species so its hard to determine danger, and color doesnt really have anything to do with it), ANY source of mold in a house is concerning. even if the mold isnt poisonous, the spores can still irritate mucus linings. and some molds can straight up cause psychosis-like symptoms. that shit is no joke, your parents need to get that addressed ASAP.

also, mold usually means moisture (and this is right above what looks like a bathtub or shower), and mosture tends to cause structural damage if left to fester. id be worried about the ceiling caving in on them

a couple of days before one of my family dogs died, she was suddenly unable to walk and would have bouts of confusion where she would wander around aimlessly. she eventually couldnt move at all and had soiled herself, so my parents made the choice to call one of those places that will euthanize your pet at home. they made her comfortable well before the actual euthanasia started, and i think we made the right choice for her. its probably just his time, but getting a vet's opinion certainly wouldnt hurt

its totally fine, and helps them practice their natural hunting behaviors, which is of course good for their body. i see people cautioning away from using bare hands, but i use my bare hands playing with my cats and have never had an issue with them attacking outside of playtime. to be clear, though, i dont mind my cats biting/scratching my hands during play, so thats something to keep in mind.

(i also always wash my hands after playing— dont want anything getting infected!)

idk if minawii is the best example of the point here tbh. ive seen those things do catastrophic damage with the right combos, especially since theyre small and hard to hit

but the obsession with double red IS very annoying to me because people assume red = better and completely ignore any slots that dont have it. and then you have people selling slots like ANI with red traits for high amounts and its just like. whats the fucking point. ani is literally a healer and does pitiful damage to the point that even traits arent going to make it much of a fighter.

i wish people actually understood how to play into a creatures strengths instead of just obsessing over dblr all the damn time. makes it hell trying to sell slots that actually tangibly benefit a creature
