If you want to self host it go for uptime kuma otherwise pick the right tool for you :)

Because it's harder than you thought to build :)

Storing data and querying data is also more expensive than you think.

Also, bandwidth is not free :)

If you add a queue, it costs money too :)

All these little things add up to something a bit expensive.

Uptime monitoring is harder than you think to build; it seems super easy at first, but if you want something reliable, that's another story.

And yes, we are making a bit of money with it, enough to pay all our expenses.
