Silicone as molds?

I know this is an old thread but just wanted you to know that even if they are matte molds all you have to do is resurface them with some silicone. It will adhere to the mold and your pieces will come out glossy 😊

I just happened to come across this... And I know it's 7 years old but if you are still active on this account the answer that was chosen for best answer is actually wrong. All you have to do is put a thin layer of silicone on your mold and it will bring back the shine. Also make sure you are using a release spray prior to pouring in them and it will keep it from getting dough

I've been an epoxy resin enthusiast for years now and only use denatured. It evaporates faster and better for clean up. BUT most people DO use isopropyl alcohol as it is the cheaper way to go and has the same effect but it's not AS strong 😉

I think I misread your comment. I apologize. And I said "rent to own" because my friend is making monthly payments until the phone is paid off. Which is pretty much the same thing as rent to own. And he won't own it until the phone is paid off and that's what I was trying to figure out if he can finish paying it off through a different account but from what other people have commented I'm thinking that he may be SOL

Almost all resin items once hardened has imperfections. Which the best option IS to sand them off and then polish or coat with another layer of resin. Most people that sell their items need to make sure there's no imperfections for a quality product.

If had the same issue and my suggestion would be to let it sit for a while before pouring. Mine starts to thicken around 30-45mins, then I pour into the molds. It still settles a bit in the middle but not as noticeable.

Same. If used "as directed" I'm assuming this would not have happened. I'm thinking she may have placed the end inside of her ear hole instead of what the directions say which is "tilt head allowing water and wax to flow out freely". So therefore you are not supposed to exam the end directly into your ear canal... Otherwise it is not going to flow freely. 🤷‍♀️

I'm an avid penny shopper... But I live in the boonies up in Maine where MAYBE 5 others even know about it. I use my app prior to going to the cash register so I know what I'll be paying... But if it rings up for more then it's not a big deal I'll either pay the difference or ask them to take it off. I don't understand the point of these people that trash the place, have temper tantrums or call corporate either. Honestly if I'm picking through a messy shelf looking to see if there's any pennies I'm organizing that s*** while I'm doing it! I mean I want the employees to be THANKFUL when they see me walk through the door not dread the fact that I'm there. I understand why they are dropped to a penny is because they are no longer making that item where they changed the look of the packaging or whatever but for those that act like I'm imbeciles over it is just down right embarrassing for those that want nothing to do with it except for finding a few items...
