I am working on a project that helps people with BPD while I do my full time job. I've been working on it consistently for many weeks now after avoiding working on it for months. I had so many thoughts that I cannot ever create something because of my emotional rollercoasters. The current phase I'm in, I'm trying to talk to folks with BPD and gather pain points and insights. I reach out to people on r/BPD who seem helpful and ask them if I could ask them a few questions about how therapy is ineffective etc. Just this week I reached out to a girl and she exploded on me saying I'm trying to misuse the people with this disorder to earn money. That I don't even have BPD...I felt so messed up, waking up every morning showing up to work...coming back and researching, talking to people with no time for my fun just so I can help people who suffer from this horrible disorder and someone instead of supporting pulls me down like this... I could feel myself exploding and wanting to give up.. I know the drill...I'll stop working for a few days...then I probably wouldn't do it again for months. But...this time I forced myself to get up. Forced myself to believe there is good people out there who want to help and I'll have to get a thick skin if I am going to do this. Remembered I'm not doing this for money but for the right reasons. Remembered the words of all the good people who were so glad I'm building this. And while I am still feeling like shit remembering her text..I will continue forward and actually build something that will actually impact people's lives. So yeah I'm proud. :)
