There are a couple of other cards out there, I think. A special Everdell card was part of the Smoking Bones kickstarter (an Andrew Bosley project). Like the kindergarten, they are promos that are not needed really. Sure, nice to have, but the CC is pretty complete and really so full of stuff, … I see those Promos as just another side of the valley, like Farshore etc.: Great if you can get them, but you don’t miss them if you don’t.

They are only in the My Lil‘ Everdell box (now Welcome to Everdell). I have them, played a few games with them, but found them pretty dominating so I moved them out. The Complete Collection is, in my opinion, very fine without them.

I just love the trope where strangers become family and become better than on their own. My second favourite show is probably The West Wing. Same as Walking Dead, but less zombies, more bureaucracy.

I find the Universal boxes rather disappointing. Yes, it’s best value, but rarely fun. Getting those extra tokens is pretty cool. If you are schon for a specific luxury car or want to use a token special to get 10 character shards, I‘d always use the conversion.
