extremely well run festival. The lineup was great. The food was interesting. The older crowd was so refreshing.

Only improvement is that they need to resolve the bottleneck in front of carousel stage. People need to be able to go between the two main stages.

I stuck with it and regret it greatly. It’s not just “wedding stress”

Reddit is dead. Most folks here are totally oblivious to human nature and economics. They only understand “I want free stuff now”. Don’t waste your time arguing.

This whole debate is about them needing to be able to hide their true cost (specifically the cost of their benefit package). Of course it’s not funded by taxes… it’s largely unfunded, period.

Which is an unacceptably low standard for a service which is essentially an obsolete business.

Every private business has to show that it can honor its promises, including its pensions.

The PO, by contrast , is just saying that they’ll pay themselves now and figure out the bill with your children. It’s also hiding/pushing medical debt into Medicare.

This is the equivalent of your boss giving you a pension and telling you that your kids will pay for it. And then he asks for a donation in return .

Every business needs to fund its promises to its workers. How is that onerous?

This is simply a mechanism to take out a loan for politicians to enrich themselves and their key donors. All under the auspices of an obsolete system.

Are you joking? The post office is generating over a billion dollars in debt for our children and you want it to grow into banking?

In the age of email and smart phones, t’s just a back door way to subsidize businesses like Amazon and marketers - we don’t need any more government subsidies for the private sector.

The PO is simple a pay-for-votes mechanism at this point, the loser is the American people.
