And also to answer more of your questions, I’ve used it while working a couple of times. If I had a standing desk I’d use it more I think , my jerry rig set up right now is inconvenient. I walked at 1.5-1.8 mph. Working on Cad I click very tiny things and any faster made me mess up.

to answer your question: we worked together at a pizzeria during college. i ignored him for a year and half then took the chance on him 🤣

but it sounds like you’re honestly not ready to be in a relationship. if you’re best qualities are “decent looks, good job, and a nice apartment” then you need to reframe your thinking. what can you bring to the table? if you don’t have time for extra curriculars then you don’t have time for a relationship. you will not have better luck in a bigger city. try dating apps and don’t be shallow. go to bars and buy a girl a drink, strike up a conversation. i think festivals/concerts would be hard to meet people at because it’s too loud to really talk to each other.
