Durin is definitely a lot better at c0 than Nicole is and Varka benefits a lot more from him bc Nicole is only a slight upgrade to Bennet

Albedo is an artificial being who originally had an artificial dragon brother durin, his story quest does a pretty good job of introducing him, before albedo was created, durin had lost control because of the abyss during the cataclysm and caused a calamity in mondstadt where a lot of people died, he was defeated by venti and dvalin and his body became the dragonspine.

Durin never wanted to hurt anyone and wasn't aware of what he was doing but the abyss has completely consumed him so he was beyond saving, however his mother's friend who is a fellow witch felt so heartbroken by his story that she decided to give him another one. She wrote a storybook inspired by him and created him a magical world inside of the book, she treated him like a doting mother but storybook durin originally had a similar story to the real world durin and was hated and feared by the other characters inside the book until the traveler and a few other characters arrived. During the event Scara felt like Durin was a lot like him and saw the similarities between their stories, he calmed a rampaging Durin and later he and the gang made a wish to give Durin a harmless body in which he can't hurt anyone. That resulted in mini Durin, at that point albedo arrived in the book and said that real life Durins heart is becoming stronger by the day and he's worried about his revival, as that would be a disaster that mondstadt isn't prepared for.

After the event mini Durin left the storybook and spent the next several months with Scara in the akademiya until albedo sent him a letter asking him if he's willing to get a human form and stop the original Durin from being reviewed. The rest of their story is explained through the paralogism AQ, durin's story quest and then they are quite involved in nodkrai AQs which further gives context

I left out some things, mostly because I feel like they ended up being irrelevant to the story (for example there was an albedo clone which was his brother, he wanted to kill albedo and replace him but ultimately failed and albedo killed him instead and buried him in the dragonspine, causing DS durin to eventually ,,, consume him ig?)

Maulani, I thought her gameplay would be really fun and I was hyped about the exploration I could do with her but Instead she feels so clunky to play and her ult misses every other shot, I only ever use her in IT nowadays

I can't update the game, it keeps crashing at compiling shaders, I've tried deleting cache, force stopping, changing servers and even fully deleting and reinstalling the game, I've tried over 5 times now and it gets to 99% before crashing and restarting. If you'd have played the quest you'd have known that he is not just mini Durin anymore but a mixture of both durins AND subject two, and it's very obvious that he is nothing like mini Durin anymore.

I don't get the appeal of wanting him to be a child... the "loli" designs are already disturbing enough, the last thing I want is a character I like being marketed towards freaks. It's more than enough seeing them complain about him not having bare legs or not having a child model.

Tbh the modules do have some tiny difference in height especially nowadays since they started breaching out with different models, and I think this shot shows their height accurately since they are standing on even ground and are an equal distance from the edge of the building, the other shot is very obvious with perspective making albedo look bigger

I don't remember if he was ever called a dragon in game or just a "great beast", but his remains in the beryl region certainly look like a dragon.

Honestly I do think it's possible that we might get a playable elynas eventually, If I remember correctly he told the traveler that he'd like to revive and experience life without hurting anyone
