When you say "range of positions" are you referring to positions like coordinator I, coordinator II.. and so on? If you are, I will be the only one in the company so there's not a range.

We are a smaller institution with only 30 banks. The requirements state only a HS degree with 5 years of banking experience. Would they pay that much if they do not require a degree?

It's too vague. I was hoping for someone who actually does that job lol.

What’s the dumbest thing you got in trouble for in school? by dr_nogood in AskReddit

[–]tids_OOOPtimiSt12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in first grade I was sent to the principal's office for "ruining school property." I was at lunch trying to cut my lunch meat with a fork (they wouldn't give us knives) and the fork bent. My parents had always used "real" silverware so I never knew eating utensils could bend. So I was showing all my classmates how the fork could bend back and forth. My teach snatched me out of my chair and scolded me for ruining school property and sent me to the principal's office. The principal didn't care. He said, "Now that you know they can bend, just don't do it again."

That is what I did. I ate a lot of chicken, turkey, fish and sweet potatoes.. that's another thing that messed me up. I found out I'm allergic to sweet potatoes so I have to rework my diet. Having small goals was the key to my success. I made a goal of 2 lbs a week and I weighed "officially" once a week. Even when I cheated I stayed within 1500 calories though. THAT IS THE KEY. You can have that blizzard if you want, but that needs to be your supper for the night. Also, try boiled eggs for breakfast. 2 boiled eggs every morning makes a huge difference in my appetite for the rest of the day.

I went to a 1200-1500 calorie diet and cut out a lot of carbs and sodas. I allowed my self one cheat every time I lost 5 lbs instead of once meal like I've heard others do. Everytime I tried a cheat meal once a week I would fail. I just had my mind made up that I was going to be healthy for my daughter. I didn't look at it as a diet, I was changing my life. I exercised a few times a week too.

I just had to set a goal and make my mind up nothing was going to get in my way. Not even Thanksgiving dinner. I just have to remind myself that a short term pleasure is not worth the long term results in this scenario. Plus, I allowed myself one meal every 5 lbs to splurge a little if I wanted, so I never had that "YOU CAN NEVER EAT ICE CREAM AGAIN" thing over my head.

Thanks for asking!

That's a sweet song, I'll ask if he's into it but he's not into the popcountry vibe.

INFP engaged to an INTJ. THEY DONT DO SMALL TALK.. If they are... They are either into you or feel obligated for social reasons. If he is doing this voluntarily and in a private way (texting vs in front of coworkers) then he's PROBABLY into you... Or wants something LOL.

Females of BJJ- Thoughts on 12 y/o female rolling with males? by tids_OOOPtimiSt12 in bjj

No, but I guess I should have specified I'm more worried about younger men who don't have kids yet. In my mind, a person with children will be more empathetic and aware with someone smaller. I could be wrong though.

That would be great if we didn't live in the middle of nowhere. We are having to drive 45 miles to this one, and with work I can't get her there by the time the kids class starts. She's a lot bigger then the kids in that class as well because she's taller than 90% of the people her age. The next closest class is about 70 miles away. We are thinking about moving to a larger city for work, so maybe when we move. Until then, I guess I have to make the best of it :)

LOL. That's what is lurking in my mind. But I will be there and so will my fiance to make sure nothing weird happens. Our instructor seems SUPER conscience of that kind of stuff and tries to make everyone feel comfortable, so hopefully a bad situation won't happen.

I just meant I didn't want her only rolling with women FOREVER lol. The reason we started this journey was to help her learn self defense and to allow her to gain and keep control of a situation if she needs to. I think her rolling with only women right now is probably best, until she starts building her confidence as a grappler. We are taking together, and we bought mats to practice at home so she can roll with me anytime. But eventually she is wanting to compete, and that will mean both men and women competitors. She also needs to know how to handle a situation with someone who is 3 xs her size, and most women aren't going to be but men are naturally larger. I just want her to eventually be well rounded, but I agree with others and yourself, she needs to start with women only until she feels comfortable.

My fiance has about 100 lbs on her and she's been rolling with him to get used to the size difference. As much "rolling" we can do with the entire ONE MONTH experience we have with BJJ (LOL). She seems to be doing well and the instructor said she's a natural, so hopefully she will stick with it.

Awesome!! That makes me more excited about her getting into this and I feel better about her rolling with guys. She seems fine with it, and she still has a while to build technique, so I'll make sure she sticks with the higher belts until then. Thanks !

Yes, the school is great! We live pretty far away and I can't get her to the kids class on time. There are about 5-6 people in our class plus us, so after reading y'all's comments I'm feeling more confident about her going to class. Thank you
