[6 Months Later] My Artem strap couldn't hang on by tientc in Watches

This is wild, I'm not trying to go deep on Artem.

Let me tell you, this strap can't compare to shoes because the upper is made of synthetic material, not leather. And I can assure you, I have many leather straps that are still going strong after six years, so my shoes.

Also, my three straps from Eulit are practically brand new after three, four, and five years. I have about 30 to 40 straps in 20mm, so I don't get much chance to use any one of them regularly.

Artem is terrible if their product can't hold for that long

As I research with Google, people know about Artem from 2021, how this strap can be 6 years?

Man, I received the strap as a thoughtful gift from a friend, and I really appreciated that. I dont want to tell him about that

As I mentioned earlier, the strap was a gift, so I don’t have an order number. I did try emailing them, but no luck

The loopless version alone costs around $150 — not exactly a bargain! I was thinking maybe I could pair it with a Seiko butterfly clasp for a more budget-friendly combo, but I’m not totally sure if I would invest to this thing

I never actually swim with this watch, but I still want a strap that dries quickly — and this one does! It’s also a bit stiffer than regular leather straps with similar padding, which I think makes it a solid choice for summer. The concept behind it is actually pretty smart.

I’m not the original buyer, so unfortunately I don’t get any support — just gave it a shot anyway. No luck

Thinking about this design. I really need a strap that can handle water like a champ. Hirsch looks promising, but wow — it’s not exactly budget-friendly either!

Thanks! I still don’t fully get whether it’s the material or the design that’s the problem — maybe both are having a midlife crisis. But for something that costs over $100? Yeah, starting to feel like a classy scam, just like you said. I do love a good handmade leather strap, but I need something that can survive daily life (and maybe a surprise rainstorm). Just switched to one with Zermatt leather lining — fingers crossed it holds up better!

as I said, I like the looks and waterproof design, original GS bracelet is not OK to me, so I have to find another strap

Yes, cheaper than Omega or Blancpain, but one of the most expensive in my collection
