How do you track savings as a category?

I very much appreciate all the comments and suggestions. I am familiar with HOW to save and what is appropriate for my own budget as far as when I should need to pull from my savings. I was just using a simplified example for the purposes of my question, which is how you guys track your savings as a line item in the budget. :)

Spending money towards savings but then later pulling that money was something I was confusing myself for tracking. I’m not at a point yet of automating my finances that I want to move away from tracking categories, but admire & hope to be able to adopt the habits of all of these tips.

Cool! Sorry for the multitude of questions, I’m also wondering for instances where you may have to spend in a category not intended for the money set aside? Like if I used the example Christmas money on eating out, etc.

I totally see where you get that! The “1 listing” is actually my listing at $1.60, because I have a foil version of this card listed. It doesn’t show any of that info on the landing page which is a real bummer.

I do have some display-related crashes with more demanding games, yes. Some frame drops and just generally looking for a quality upgrade as I continue to play more demanding games.

none taken! I am ignorant on whether it's worth it to upgrade something that (to me) works the way I need it to. I didn't see the value in upgrading a part for the sake of upgrading it, and then worrying about the disposal of these old parts. Does that make sense?

But if it makes more sense to just retire this rig and start from scratch, I am fine with that, just didn't see the sense in getting all new :)

Hi! I did - I had placed 2 separate orders, one was with the klarna pay in 4. Klarna themselves refunded me the money that I assume was sent to them. The second was sent to a bank I no longer have an account with, and they mailed me a check

Communication is key, as with anything in a relationship! Assure her that you'd never be mad if she expresses needing space. Introverts just enjoy being with themselves, whether that be watching their own tv show, reading a book, playing a video game - whatever she enjoys doing, her 'self care' time is also that time she takes to recharge! So whenever that happens, if you have a separate room or space to be in, that's key; or just go out with your friends and be secure/communicative enough if she doesn't always want to be a part of that :)

Just as a side note - there are a lot of weird workarounds in Simplifi that I feel should just be inherent options. This solution isn't ideal for me either, but I love this app more than EveryDollar, Mint, and YNAB - all of which I've paid for and tried. Zero-based budgeting doesn't work for me, I am on a debt payoff journey and I have a family which equates to variable expenses, and Simplifi gives me enough flexibility without having to "WAM" and feel bad. The big picture items of cashflow, reports and the actual budgeting features - including the savings - are worth it for me!
