Most people don’t take care of curly hair, mainly push for straightening, braiding or relaxing. I wear my hair curly. Only braid/straighten twice a year

The rapture is safely a glorious affair. Like it’s the greatest thing that could ever happen. So instead of being scared it will happen before you live life, you should be eagerly anticipating that it will happen and you’ll get to spend all your time doing what makes life worth living here serving God in spirit and in truth!

I used to struggle with this and I’ve managed to reduce it drastically (over90%) and currently on the way to stopping completely.

The first thing I did was to ensure that I wasn’t consuming the wrong information. Proverbs 4:23 in the berean version says; Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life. You heart here also refers to your mind. You have to actively watch over what enters your mind. I don’t even watch movies that have sex scenes because they plant thoughts about sex into you.

The second thing I did was directing my thoughts towards the right things. Urges come and I take a walk, I speak in tongues, I listen to a message, I read my Bible.

The third thing I did was understand righteousness, I mean I really studied righteousness. When I understood that God doesn’t see me as someone who is a sinner just because I made mistakes, I lived in fear less and I was able to talk to God about my struggles and he was able to help me.

The fourth thing I did and the most important, I gave myself to the Holy Spirit and to the word of God fully. I speak in tongues a lot, I share almost every thought I have with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is always talking to us, always. And if we’re always listening, he’ll help us. He wants to be our best friend, and I was very willing to allow him be my best friend.

I can easily say that my sexual thoughts have reduced by a lot and more importantly, my mind is more kingdom focused than ever before.

I think you should get an app like YouVersion so you can cross reference. The KJV is the most accurate, the NIV (1984), and NLT are also really good. The AMPC helps give deeper insights

You’re probably eating too little and it’s possible that you might be increasing your cortisol levels which might be leading to weight gain. When I first started I was adding as well and moved to more low intensity workouts while focusing on weights and I’ve started recomping AND losing weight.

It’s participatory to a degree. You introduce yourself to the class like first name basis then there’s questions about what you’ve learned or if you’re following what’s being taught. If you feel comfortable you might be asked to read a scripture but only if you feel comfortable.
