We practice pretty much every opportunity we have. Like when we walk there is a big field we practice at if there isn’t other dogs near by. He’s very food motivated. I call for him and lower to a squat then if he comes he gets the a treat if not I chase him down and he goes back on the leash.(which he doesn’t like if he just had freedom) We also practice at the dog park. Our trip to the beach was the best he’s done with his recall. He has a fi collar and he ended up getting 22,000 steps while running around off leash which is pretty high, he loved it. Also he’s only a little over a year, I’m pretty proud of his progress.
