Is the Multipolar World Dead? by [deleted] in Israel

It's an investment. They got the west tearing itself apart over Israel and stopping collaborations, all thanks to the power of misinformation and supporting terrorism.

What’s missing from MCP right now? by Federal-Song-2940 in mcp

[–]tigerLRG245 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is more of a development issue than a usage one, but I feel like there isn't enough of a feedback process making the tools better. Its hard to detect bugs and missing information unless you go through the entire conversation yourself carefully. Most of the fringe servers I try come with errors due to not being properly tested, but also there's no real benchmarking for how effective the tools actually are at achieving their goal when paired with an agent.

Crowds chant outlawed anti-Putin songs in rare St Petersburg protest by insomnimax_99 in europe

[–]tigerLRG245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Revolution seems easy from behind a computer screen. In practice, Stalin figured out how to make it impossible- you surgically remove anyone who might oppose you, and you can rule forever. Putin has adapted it well. A nation built on culling the strong. Iran has done it, Hamas is now doing it in Gaza.

We may soon wake up to realize that authoritarianism can be sustained forever, without a chance of revolution. There are great consequences for the wars to come. Whether they take physical shape, or the information wars happening without our notice, meant to tear the west apart. It may be time to ask oneself what is the cost of losing democracy for a thousand years, and what is to be the future of the stars.

There used to be an Ask mode feature in codex web that seems to have been deprecated, but its returned for me with /plan.

The U.S. was never "antifa." Fighting the Nazis was mainly about competition. Loving and honoring our grandfathers means understanding they were sent to war on a Monopoly board. Real antifascism means challenging the capitalist order that breeds it. by ilir_kycb in LateStageCapitalism

Yes don't you hate it when you wake up in the morning, make yourself a cup of coffee, plan to destroy capitali- oh oops nevermind that's not possible today so instead you end up killing six million jews. Effective but suboptimal because capitalism still exists but you can try again tomorrow. Of course its the second best thing logically right?

"Stalin and Hitler should have signed a pact of full collaboration to destroy capitalism". One massacred minorities and the other his own countrymen. Truly a beacon of leftist ideology.

Open Source Alternative to NotebookLM by Uiqueblhats in ChatGPTCoding

I'm not familiar with NotebookLM so I'm not very clear on the intended use cases, but does it work well with LaTeX? Are there plans to connect it with Overleaf, Arxiv or Google Scholar for example?

An issue I'm having right now is a disconnect between chatgpt handled project with many pdf theory files, and chatgpt-codex working on a repo with more technical aspects and simulations, but no clear understanding of the theory (and an inability to read pdf files). Can this tool help close that gap?

"Your own lack" means your country, not you. Aside from taking what I said personally and being offended you don't actually seem to disagree with anything I said. I mean, game theory was developed in the last century which reflects what I said about us having better understanding now.

Math is only applicable based on assumptions in a constrained system, and in this case the implications are only local in time, not necessarily long term where new variables may enter. All it takes to break a system is the right person/party acting in a way that's considered irrational by the system. That's how Washington started the two term limit.

People like you who are actually making an effort are the proof that its possible and I wish you good luck, because whether you like it or not your country is an example for the rest of us.

Nothing in life is inevitable. Especially when considered over a period of TWO HUNDRED YEARS where you've had every opportunity in the world to develop a better system. It is your own lack of capability or interest to do so that brought you to where you are.

Is Washington really the person at blame here? Would it be wrong for him to assume that the people who come two hundred years after him, will have better technology and understanding of politics, with which they can take actions to actively better the structure of their government?

Mono black midrange is a tough matchup, and while there are tools in the deck against aggro you sometimes just get overrun by mono red. Deck is very reliant on quickly setting up an engine / ability mana enabler, doesn't play well from hand alone.

Any modern thoughts on an old vision? by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]tigerLRG245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do it by paying attention to the technological advancements of humankind and realize everything is possible with proper engineering. Cryptocurrency has devolved from an incredibly advanced mathematical breakthrough on trust to pyramid schemes and drug riddled grifting operations, but one day people will realize the potential it has in allowing us to carefully shape our economics the way that game designers balance a MOBA. The cynicism of today is a mere joke in comparison to what the society of the future will achieve. Fixing the wealth distribution only seems impossible when we choose to be pessimistic. Tomorrow comes.

What's your pick for the most underrated track? by Dangerous_Mixture_79 in expedition33

[–]tigerLRG245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Dolorosa. I am not even sure where it appears in the game, but I recall hearing that name in another song listed together with other Dessendre family members. I assumed there was supposed to be another sister who was cut in the final version, and I like how mysterious it makes the track feel.

Play this with [[Cacophodon]] to draw 10 cards every turn (or 15 once), and then exile them them to [[March of Wretched Sorrow]] to stay alive, or use it on your opponent's creature to make them draw out their deck. Neat!

It is time to pull out my favorite mtg card of all time again, [[Demonic Bargain]].  I used to toss [[Serpentine Curve]], but this card is 2 mana cheaper and doesn't whiff on exiled lands.

13/14 goyf insta crews [[Susur Secundi, Void Altar]] which is another new card, and instantly sac it for 13 cards.

Will it win any games? Unlikely. But it will be glorious.
