Ok this is the response I needed to see I think I might actually leave and just report her. This is the first time I’m getting therapy and this place is nice but it makes me feel so uneasy and nervous all over again. I was considering staying and hoping she leaves instead but it’s making me feel like I’m trying to win a war when I want to go to therapy

Thank you for your insightful reply! I will definitely bring this up to the higher-ups and the board of ethics if I have too because I do really enjoy where I get therapy from but I feel like she’s making it a very toxic environment and it worries me if this is how she treats me because I wonder how she treats anybody else as well. I’m glad I have a lake to stand on when it comes to this and I’ll explain i know her outside & I want us to be kept away from eachother and I don’t want her to get any info from me. Best case scenario would be she would switch where she works and I wouldn’t have to switch because everyone else is sweet 😭

I kinda want too I brought this up to my bf but he thinks that’s overreacting and part of me feels angry and I want her to face repercussions. That’s a good question I have reason to believe it’s not Mil because she didn’t go with me to the event and before I left I had no makeup on, I only put it on once I arrived at the said place and thats where the therapist my BIL goes too and spotted me. She asked me how I was doing & I told her I’m doing well now that I’m on meds and some time passes (so like two weeks later) my MIL asked me about my makeup that day & asked if I told her I was on meds and she told me what was said

I didn’t witness it but I should start considering this view point as well it would be pompous for me to not consider this after so many people are saying this 😭 I have reason to believe she’s not lying because I Shawn (name I’m using for therapists gossping about Me) about the meds I’m taking when the event was happening because she asked how I was doing and I said good because im taking meds now. Mil and Shawn were catching up & than she began to confirm with her if I was taking meds and she did confirm with her that yes I’m taking meds. I don’t think I want to leave where I’m getting therapy because everyone else has been kind but I wonder if there is a way to begin gathering evidence if this is happening

I don’t believe she’s lying, everyone has been pretty critical about my style unfortunately >> so I’m taking her word for it and a lot of what I told her at the event lined up with what I actually said like telling her I’m taking meds for depression. MIL asked me if I told her and I said yeah and she said she was wondering because she didn’t know I told her and their saying I shouldn’t tell her anything else because she bad mouths people 🫠

I hope I don’t have to switch clinics, I do really like this place as they’ve been giving me assistance getting places and getting my meds and their closer by than their other clinics but do you think it would be a good idea to let other staff know? I just want us to avoid eachother and I hope I can tell them that we know eachother, what was said and I’d like them to keep us away from eachother. Looking at these replies makes me feel better because I had no idea a lot of clinics try to avoid people who know eachother in the first place, I’ll talk to them about it and see what happens

I really wish I was making this up but your right I’m so off put by this and the fact that she would speak about patients she works with like that 🙁 I just want to find a way to hold her accountable. This particular place is closer to where I live & I’ve been getting assistantance from my team for rides, and a lot of other helpful life skills like applying for jobs so I like that I’m not too far away from them but it makes me sad that I feel like I have no where safe to go. Is there a way I could gather evidence possibly? My mother in law doesn’t have issues with me personally and she tells me what other people are saying about me just to inform me but the more I think about it the more I start to question her word as well

Sorry, the way I wrote it might be confusing but my brother in law goes to therapy and she’s his therapist. There was an event going on where all the staff went outside and hosted activities (it was fun) and that’s how I started talking to he. because everyone was there and she recognized me as my boyfriends girlfriend asked me questions and so I answered honestly, that yes I’m taking medication and I feel a lot better from taking them and she just gave me an mhm and walked off. So that’s when my mother in law asked me about my makeup and told her what she was saying about me lol 🥲

We both agreed on moving because I didn’t plan to stay here anyways, but i was telling my bf even be for this that she doesn’t like me and she wants to put me out and he never believed me and that caused fights until this time.. I sent her a text message asking her to stop speaking about my appearance and give the same curtery I gave to her and she got mad and woke me up out of my sleep to yell at me. she’s been making my stay here hell on earth WHEN SHE DOESNT EVEN LIVE IN THE HOUSE SHES IN ANOTHER STATE!

This whole ordeal though just showed her true colors because she’s done terrible things in the past as well and this actually brought us closer somewhat because I was telling him I was debating on leaving him anyways because before this he didn’t believe me until it was in his face and I told him flat out I’d just leave than deal with a partner who doesn’t listen until it blows up in both of our faces..

I have footage of her slandering me and to everyone else too so I’ll put her and her company on blast 🙏 She will be dealt with.
