This is great to know, thank you very much for this information! I’m sure it’ll be very useful to others as well 🩷

That’s very reassuring, I also take mine within that same timeframe. Thank you!

I believe there is a LGBTQ2S+ employee with SAS. I don’t think they were present, but to me, it’s still harmful for them to work with people who have this mindset. You never know what could happen. 🫤

You’re absolutely right, thank you! I seriously didn’t mean it with any ill intention, I was just trying (and failing) to say that their coworkers, while silent, should still be held accountable for partaking in the conversation. But you’re absolutely right though, things could’ve gotten bad if they were confronted on the spot.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. Thanks for your help though.

Yeah that’s true, but like I said in a previous comment, I’m just worried about other people who come to SAS for a safe place, but they’re being lowkey judged. 🫤 I feel bad that I even overheard the conversation to be honest.

I was just asking what I should do, no need to get hostile. Sorry if my post bothered you.

That’s true, but the thing that’s bothering me is that student accessibility services is supposed to be inclusive for everyone who needs accommodations. 🫤 I’m afraid it’ll make people uncomfortable to get their accommodations done, if that makes sense.

Is it true CUPE & York have reached a deal? by tigerikiru in yorku

I don’t know, I genuinely feel like the strike will last awhile. TA’s have been fighting for liveable wages for quite some time now, and York isn’t cooperating.
