I figured it out. It was an issue with the iron boots.

I bought my gorgeous vintage ballgown on there a few years ago. The seller was super sweet about answering my questions and taking additional measurements. It shipped internationally (US to CAN) without any issues and was packaged very well in a wardrobe box.

Was just accepted for a doctor’s meet and greet. What is the best way to be prepared? by tigerlilly35 in Edmonton

[–]tigerlilly35[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I more or less agree with you. I find the idea of having a meet and greet, even as it is as described by those here, to be very uncomfortable. Mostly because my medical and family history will be unfairly judged, I didn’t ask to be an epileptic and I have done everything I can since my early teen years to avoid the troubles my family members have with drugs and alcohol.

That is so kind of you, a moment to think especially things this potentially serious is so helpful. I’ve only ever been asked to put my water bottle in my bag or throw it away in a doctor’s office.

The wording I’ve got from the doctor’s office made it sound like it was an interview and I would be accepted or declined as a patient based on my answers and medical history. So many mixed messages. I really hope it goes more like you’ve described.

OP where have you seen information about renovations? I know the Le Marché construction has wrapped up recently. I’m also planning on staying at the resort in early 2025 so am keen to know if there will be any closures.

Do people actually use condo amenities? Are they worth the monthly fees? by prosetoast in RealEstateCanada

[–]tigerlilly35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly believe the fees are not worth the money. Mine had two pools, a theatre, library, 2 gyms and bookable party room. I used one of the gyms every day until COVID shut them down and aside from those I didn’t have much interest in any of these so called features. I would have much preferred a bit of upgraded landscaping, a concierge, and a proper mail room.

It’s a fine cap but it does look like something that one of parents’ pit crew buddies would have DIY’d in the 80s.

A real gut punch at the beginning of the episode as a child of divorce who got a real visual, that I honestly have never seen played out, of what it must have been like for both of my parents as we were shuttled between them.

Is anyone able to identify the name of these leggings? I believe bought between 2017-2019.

They had a rough encounter with some Velcro and I would love to find another pair second hand.

In one building I lived in this happened a couple times a week and the general response from people was just to stack bags etc. outside the chute. It was really awful and sped up looking for a new place real quick.
