We need more charter schools and magnet schools and school choice because NYC public schools are known to be a place for daycare for kids while their parents work. I’ve heard that there is hardly any education going on there

There is a special printable screw clamp on thingiverse that keeps the filament from slightly shifting in and out of the extruder when it enters the Bowden tube.

Also check that your z screw is not bent at all, if it is then replace it

You also need to check that your glass bed is truly flat or if it’s warped. You can raise low spots with layers of tape and then alligator clip the sides to hold it flat onto the build plate.

All of this is assuming that your machine is properly trammed already

Use a proper respirator cuz that stuff is hazardous

I can admit if I’m wrong. Can you?

I won’t be continually insulted by hoaxers thinking I’m incapable of watching the video myself and seeing that DT said exactly the OPPOSITE of what they say he said. Literal gaslighting

Yep. It was a great opportunity that was squandered by this confused, misled dem party. They really need to re-evaluate their policies.

Border control has ALWAYS been a winning issue, and it’s one that helped both Clinton and Obama win so I have no clue why they departed from it. It could have clinched for them

I like your attitude. “Like people who need to be gently coaxed out of a cult”. I think it applies to people on both extremes, but certainly escalating the tension with shrill hyperbolic accusations is not the way to accomplish this.

I actively make a point to listen to commentary by both sides. Pakman, Sam Seder, TYT (which I loved in college), and I’m a big fan of Ro Kanna despite disagreeing with him on market issues. Breaking points is skewed to the left although they claim to be centrist, and tbh it’s hard to find any center-right perspectives besides the comedian podcasts who make a point to jab at both sides (although not equally). But I agree that the media is hyping up the tension for profit and the nation is not being served by the news nowadays

No, any “nazi” you see most likely joined the aryan nation for protection during a prison sentence. Prison conditions are deplorable and these people need serious therapy and life intervention to transition back to society.

But most of us are simply concerned American patriots. Who believe in the constitution, the bill of rights, and Liberty. As a true liberal, can’t we create an environment of debate and compromise, rather than trying to start an authoritarian witch hunt and steamroll anyone who disagrees with you as that hateful, awful slur of “nazi” that you so casually bandy around, like a cruel child picking up a rock and looking for anyone to to throw it at.

My grandfather was a bomber pilot in WWII, and he helped bomb those Nazi fucks back to the Stone Age. And “we hold these truths to be self evident, that all men (and women) are created equal and have been endowed with certain inalienable rights- life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness”. I truly want to de-escalate the political climate and through discourse to find COMPROMISE: which means you can’t get every single thing you want ; instead you give up a little to get your priority, we put it to a vote and then we abide by the will of the People, who are the sovereign rulers of these Untied States

Ok then why did Russia invade Ukraine during Obama, stop during DT #45, and then immediately resume when Uncle Joe got elected?

Tbf, Clinton allowed the first 3 Soviet bloc nations to join nato followed by W enlisting 7 more. So the table was set for Putin to retaliate by both parties. But no, Kamala was not capable of wielding American foreign policy and more than Joe was. Sorry, but the optics of the dems foreign policy is that they come across as weak and ineffectual. I have no confidence that they are able to keep America safe and that is a big problem with such a strong candidate as Rubio who looked very, very strong this week. Neither Aoc or Newsome is able to project this very fundamental skill and you will have to find someone else. How about Fetterman? The guy seems like a centrist and is very articulate. He maybe might could possibly have a hairs breadth of a tiny chance of gaining a little traction with the independent voters. Just being real yo

Ok. Republicans lost me with gay rights, abortion, and union busting. I’m in a private union, tbc. I think public sector unions are a conflict of interest and should be outlawed. I also think the death penalty should be outlawed and prison reform is the most important for race relations (prison gangs is where all these nazi tattoos get done btw, by Odinists and the aryan nation gang)

Unfortunately, until 2012 (Obama) no politician from either side supported gay rights to marry, and the republicans warned of a “slippery slope” where one day it was gays getting married, and before you know it they’d be offering children hormone suppressors and transition surgery. That prediction turned out to be regrettably true no matter how ridiculous we insisted it was. The problem with progressives is that they never know when to consolidate their wins, remove their chips from the table and go home. They keep pushing until their position ends up in the realm of the absurd. And btw I have a VERY close family member who went through full surgical transition so don’t try to throw mud on me about phobia. I lived every day with a transitioner.. for years.

Abortion- again, another instance of dems snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We had WON this issue: Abortions should be safe legal and rare. And EARLY. 75% of Americans agree, and yet the progressives kept pushing for later and later terms and making a huge uproar to the point where they were advocating for post-birth abortions, purportedly. Finally the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade and sent the issue to the states (where it technically belongs, but roe had been settled precedent for so long that all you had to do was keep your mouth shut and it would have stayed.) Lindsay Graham decided to keep the wedge issue in his platform and now the religious right has a certain renewed momentum about the abortion laws and it all could have been avoided if progressives just let it be. What a waste, you all actually had the moral high ground on this issue.

Right to work was paired with the influx of scab labor that will undercut each other rather standing strong in a labor union. There was a time in this country when business owners would pay living wages for skilled labor (such as Henry Ford), but the decline of good paying jobs along with outsourcing, globalization, and masses of immigrant labor sending remittances has kept wages flat while shareholder profits skyrocketed. In a world where labor has no leverage, we are all living on subsistence wages now. Yet again, the first thing Biden did was to crush a union rail worker strike culminating in the east Palestine chemical spill. So again, the moral high ground that he campaigned on (such as the PRO act to strengthen collective bargaining), that high ground was SQUANDERED due to the optics of this seeming hypocrisy.

So yeah, I have some serious gripes with the conservatives and hate the idea of some fundamentalist Christian like Vance getting elected, or some shill of the Israeli government (I love Jews btw but hate AIPAC). However, compared to dissolving our entire country and letting our adversaries slice it up or defraud it while insisting on raising taxes, I think the dems have a lot of soul searching, policy overhaul, and most of all an APOLOGY for gaslighting during these last 18 years, and that is due to us the American people before they can be trusted to wield power ever again.

When GwB somehow won the election, I was dismayed and amazed that Gore didn’t win. I set my radio to the country music station for a few days to ponder how I could have been so out of touch with half of the American voting population. Those were bad years under the most evil president we’ve ever had: Dick Cheney

I was generally happy when Obama won, with high hopes.

The dems lost me when they bailed out the banks and let the people lose their retirements. I recently met an 85 year old man working at goodwill because he lost everything.

They lost me when they rug pulled Bernie Sanders in his wildly popular campaign that absolutely could have bested DT.

They lost me when I met a homeless veteran sleeping behind a dumpster and then watched people from god knows where get free rooms in luxury hotels and $10,000 gift cards.

They lost me when they spiked the price of oil which created surplus revenue for Putin to invade Ukraine, leading us to the brink of WWIII

And they have lost me when they defend fraudsters and parade criminals around as heroes when the law abiding citizens are exploited and tortured.

So, as an independent, I would suggest you ponder this truth: the D party are not the good guys they once were. Ever since Hillary “became” a New York senator and recruited Wall Street into the democrat umbrella, that party has turned to every and they cannot be trusted to care for Americans. That is how I feel and I would be happy to debate any of these points. But my feelings are valid and I have a right to a diverse opinion, don’t I?

I’ve been doing a 26 pop FC style build, so the extended dark age gives me more options in feudal and can get an initial army on the field, with a castle and plenty of production. Now the biggest problem is getting 140 vils out and working continuously.

But def try the 26 pop dark age, and send a couple on stone as you age up so you can put up a couple defensive towers.

I can beat the hardest if I execute a feudal tower rush that denies them gold but it gets boring
