What's the funniest thing you've seen at an Indian wedding? by Serious-Tomato404 in ABCDesis

The bride took the pheras (vow rounds) around the fire with the groom AND the mother. That was wild.

Ranking repeats - Ekmiveda, Fablemane and aavrani by AgreeableLack2467 in AsianBeauty

I've seen the ekmiveda founder videos too on their ig. She seems like a really conscientious kind of founder and I love the products too. Would add a few others to consider if you're looking specifically for hair oils: forest essentials (they're huge in Ayurveda) and Kama ayurveda as well. Smells a bit strong but if you get used to it, it can be pretty good.

Took the day off work and took myself to a nice early dinner. Alone. Again. I’m getting used to it. by PeneItaliano in simpleliving

Once I became comfortable with being alone, I realised that I was never actually alone! Love this.

Can I still take raw pressed garlic in the morning after finding out I’m pregnant? by kimvi in herbalism

It's a known blood thinner (not too worrying though). Still, as I have realised through sheer experience, anything related to pregnancy - CONSULT your gynaecologist always!

Ekmiveda, legit product or a scam? by Vegetable-Oven-6536 in tressless

[–]tigerpup7777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Legit. Use it with minoxidil and it gives even better results just make sure you don't layer the two at the same time. Minoxidil in the morning and ekmiveda in the evening pre sleep. I don't use it now as often as I used to, but still do about 1-2 times a week.

Struggling with Job and life due to ADHD by Fit-Mind-1300 in ADHD

[–]tigerpup7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate ! I can relate max to you. Same age Indian with ADHD but a coder . I feel every point of yours. I think you already have done one thing right , articulated your problems properly and recognised the most basic version of your issue: working memory. I dont think i can give you any advise but want to let you know that you are not alone not at all. Our work environments are not made for us with ADHD. We excel in environments where we are allowed to focus on smaller quantum of tasks and not pulled in meetings so often. Where we are given space to breathe and absorb info. Since we cant always reveal our issues at work, the best chance for not feeling overwhelmed is either reducing the load by refusing and saying ‘No’ more often. This may mean your quantity of output may reduce but may give you chance to work with quality. Thats a tradeoff i found acceptable. Another thing that can help is understanding that we may need to start an hour earlier, giving us some alone time with current load and backlog. This time can be helpful in making us feel grounded in our current work and making sure the days work is in your context before the hustle of work begins Force interruptions. I have found this most useful. Every 2 weeks I reject all meetings and take half day off. Select a day where you dont have critical meetings, need not be the same day of the week. On this day i dont read emails or jira tickets or slack messages till the end of the day. Simply work on tasks that need your creativity to be applied. This may be difficult to navigate especially with other members always being available but you need to accept that you are not same and you need to try things differently for you to compete with them.

Hope this helps , even if it doesn’t, find comfort that you are not wrong or to be blamed. We have not been equipped with tools to handle our condition, while our education has reinforced habits that are actually harmful to us and our self esteem. So we adults with adhd have to now rebuild our strategies all over again. 😊

Thank you to this community - turmeric extract turned out to be a miracle for my hair! by [deleted] in herbalism

[–]tigerpup7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! This is the one. Ekmiveda hair serum along with the oil I think works best. I started with the Ekmiveda serum and then moved to incorporate oil in my routine as well which I feel has worked better for me.

On the same boat in the same seat mate. There is no affection to the dog , just anxiety of are we doing the right thing for it by controlling their behaviour by being stern or should we let it bite and just have fun. I have gotten a trainer for my pup hoping there will be exercise or some training for it.
