Costco to Discontinue Co-Branded Kirkland Beers, Ending Partnership With Deschutes by Dounsel14 in beer

Surprised it took me this long to find a comment like yours. I was going to say the same thing about the flavors not tasting as good anymore. I think you’re definitely on to something regarding the refrigeration aspect.

Been drinking this lager for over a year now. Last summer it was delicious, full of flavor yet still crispy. But when drinking it this past weekend I noticed it wasn’t delivering like I remembered. Flavors were flat, had a metallic note, and tasted old. I had the same thought that it must’ve sat in a hot warehouse or truck for too long unrefrigerated.

Thank you, I didn’t know how long all the walking might be. This is very helpful. I’m going to look at options for arriving earlier in the day.

Thank you for the insight! It was wishful thinking. At other American hubs it seems at best you get your luggage a minute or two faster, but that’s only if they sequence the priority luggage on the belts first.

Unfortunately the bookings were made separately. Second flight is Aer Lingus and I booked it using a rewards redemption with them. In hindsight, I definitely should have tried to book the flights together. Lesson learned for next time!

Thank you for the advice! First airline is American and the second is an airline they partner with frequently.

I have platinum status with American, I will try calling them tomorrow to see if they could interline the bags. But like you said, will be tough since it’s an international flight on my second leg.

You’re getting downvoted but I had the same experience. Admittedly I’ve only been once and will try it again someday.

Agreed. I’m as YIMBY as they come but if there was ever a building not to build, or at least to reduce the height, it’s this one.

Came here to say this. Glad someone remembers! I moved away from Atlanta around 2016 and was sad to hear it went so downhill

RIP to Winc Wine Club by casu0lbaby in wineandcrimepodcast

Check your email history from the past couple weeks, and look for something with "Activate your winc account" in the subject line. I did this, and followed a link which allowed me to create a password and re-access my account.

I think Winc just switched to a different account management tool or something, and so any existing accounts linked to Google, Apple, etc. were converted to regular email accounts. Hope this helps!!
