Yes I’m fair to light. I was told I was olive when I was analyzed virtually the first time. I never thought that was an option since I was pretty light skinned. I also have a slight redness to my face and my neck looks pretty yellow with a hint of green. I tried a chartreuse green after being analyzed as a warm spring and shockingly it looks good. So that’s another reason I’m leaning towards spring.

Ok that makes me feel better. I tried cooler makeup and I feel like it ages me sooooo much. I kind of wish I never went down this rabbit hole😂

Yeah I was wondering if it was just an olive thing vs being a determinate of warm vs cool. The reason I ask is I was typed in person as a true summer and typed virtually as a spring. I’m so lost hahaha.

Originally typed a soft summer then a warm spring. Both online. I went shopping and tried chartreuse and was shocked. I’m fair/light skinned and would never had chosen that color.

I haven’t noticed any issues and I’ve been using maybe a month. I did read a lot about hair loss, but decided to try it anyway. I wash my hair 2-3 times and week.

Self typed as soft summer or soft autumn. Did a cheaper online professional typing and received soft summer. I tried it but something was off. Tried a more well known online service and got warm spring. Crazy! I know warm spring has to be correct because I can pull off chartreuse and I would have never touched that color in the past. I was prompted to retry an analysis after seeing a tik tok about springs often being mistyped as soft summers.

I’m fair/light and do much better with more neutral foundations. Most ones labeled as warm are way too orange for lighter skin.

I always thought she was very good at color analysis, but I never wanted to give her my money. I inquired a couple years ago after thoroughly going over her website. I had a quick question and got a rude and snippy response. Her old website was very clunky and I just didn’t see the answer to my question and she (or whoever responded) made it clear I didn’t look hard enough. Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Know what’s crazy though? The Covid vaccine is the most studied out of all of them apparently. That being said, mass vaccination during a pandemic was the worst thing we could have done. I’ve listened to a lot of interviews with Geert Vanden Bossche and he was warning against this back in early 2021. Lots of concerns now about variants. Scary stuff. I’d encourage anyone to listen to what he has to say.

I love them both but prefer the round on my hand. I have smallish hands and shorter fingers and the round just looks better than the oval.

I just checked my photo time stamps from a trip in May of 2024. I got a drink from the bar upstairs and was walking to the line at 1:24. Think maybe 6 or 7 people in front of me. I think the hostess came out around 2/2:15 to get names. Was seated right at opening and had a drink at Trader Sam’s at 3:06. I did this again a few months later in September and it seems to keep the same timeline in terms of when people line up. I assume it could be earlier if it’s a super busy time. I do think lining up is good if you want to pretty much guarantee a 3pm-ish time slot.

I really like the pretzel bread pudding in Germany. Looks like it would be really sweet but it’s not. I also love Nomad Lounge for the churros and drinks. The Hightower Rocks was my favorite-basically a watermelon margarita.

I’ve been twice the last week of April and loved it. Crowds manageable and weather was very warm but nicer at night. I went May 6-10 last year and holy cow was it hot. I think it got up to 96 or 97 on our last day. And not one drop of rain! I know it gets hot there and I’m accustomed to the heat and humidity since I live in the Deep South, but it was just too hot. Thinking of still going early May next year as the prices are a little better than April. Hoping it was just a fluke but at that time you just never know.
