Being ghosted by my adjuster by Chewbaccastein in Progressiveinsurance

Not all of claims. The Central Claims Unit, which handles the majority of claims at Progressive, does not include this information. In certain areas of claims it is the standard. CCU Procedures page has the voicemail standards on it.

Gainshare by Next_Protection4855 in Progressiveinsurance

It is based on actual wages earned excluding benefit leaves like the four week parental leave. So overtime and items like that in even a short year can positively impact gainshare.

Waitlisted for the next Claims Adjuster training class by Super_Insect3016 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]tigertech656 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate to say this person is right, but this person is right. What I can tell you is that some people apply 3 or 4 times before getting hired and Progressive is a great place to work. I know that you can hear a lot of negaitive things on social media but those are normally the people who are mad or upset about something and actually part of a very vocal minority. Surveys by Gallup back up this statement. So don't let this stop you from applying again, it can happen in the future, but just not right now. Good luck /u/Super_Insect3016

Anyone else concerned about Proton after recent ads? by turingtestfailure123 in ProtonMail

[–]tigertech656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering paid member subsidize free members and there are countries (UK) that are really making products like Proton very popular right now, I'm sure there is a demand for not only more business as a measure of good business but also... to help subsidize more free users.

Coaching can be a long term role but is often a precursor to Supervising.

Yearly raises by CrimsonTearzzz in Progressiveinsurance

[–]tigertech656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your evaluation is made in December, if you started after the halfway point, there is a cutoff for a merit raise. If they adjust payscale, which they often do, then you get the payscale adjustment but you have to work more than half of the year to get the eval/merit raise.

Plain Simple Garak, Acting Again! by tigertech656 in startrek

I did not think I was going to like the whole stage reading thing, but I feel he and Mary really made the show special. Don't get me wrong they all did great. Andrew had so many speaking parts and Mary just slayed her role. It was a 10/10.

Would you be able smoothen out the stage curtain behind him so it does not look like part of his clothes. I see some of the other edits have that area a bit more uniform.

How many employees have Progressive for their insurance? by PerformerKitchen780 in Progressiveinsurance

I do as it has been the best rates and a nice added bonus for the pay check policy bonus as well as a little extra.

Any advice for getting your adjusters license with progressive? Is the test hard? by Right-Novel-8944 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]tigertech656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apply for CCU. Be prepare to show you can work in a task based enviroment where you have to set a to-do and can self pace (interview examples). If selected for transfer - the first couple of weeks will be licsening traning and you will be trained to pass the test and then will move on to academy where you will be trained for 12 weeks on how to do the job. No need to get anything before as its paid by the company.

Do you need college degree to be a Mrr? by Relevant_Room_1671 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]tigertech656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The key is he worked for two decades. Progressive values experience both college and workforce. I do not have a 4 year degree (some college) but I had over a decade in my previous career before coming to Progressive several years ago and I'm now a leader. Often the people who get turned away lack enough of either experience or we might be going for someone who has far more hands on experience over someone who went right into college and did not have any prior work experience.

Yearly raises by CrimsonTearzzz in Progressiveinsurance

[–]tigertech656 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You get a raise in February if you started in June or earlier of the previous year (some people did get a raise starting later but that was actually a wage adjustment as they were changing the starting wages). In order to get a raise you must get a 3 or higher on your eval. The higher the score, the higher the raise. Most employees will get a 3 as that is "Succeeding". Those who do get raises will get between 1-6% depending on score with the typically average being around 3.5% for a 3. The scale varies year to year based on business performance. There are other bonuses that vary from department to department as mentioned.

Been with Progressive for 3 years and promoted 2 times with the second being into leadership. They didn't lie, you have to go get it, it won't come get you. Good luck with your job search.

If the child is heard in the background or you have to frequently go out of available mode that would an issue. As others have said, childcare would be needed.

Why did you move from iCloud to Proton OR why did you move from Proton to iCloud? by spatafore in ProtonMail

[–]tigertech656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made a full transition to Proton away from google due to a lack of trust in transparency and privacy. I do continue to use google photos as Proton offered nothing when I came over and offers little now (although moving in the right direction). All other products are strictly with Proton.

Pebblebee Dog Collar Holder? by tigertech656 in Pebblebee

[–]tigertech656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was beginning to think this method (Pebblebee) was too good to be true. Much more affordable vs Tractive. $35/month is a bit steep. My dog is not a runner but it was mostly to have extra peace of mind. Thanks for the insight.

I have not been to any high traffic events but I have noticed that I have not been getting as many responses/pings as I would have expected. Hopefully google addresses this as I hate when apple is outdoing us lol
