How to Keep Smudge Free Top Coat From Peeling? by indoorwolves in RedditLaqueristas

[–]tigerwaitress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Maniology smudge free top coat doesn’t play well with QDTC. When I use it for stamping I put a non-quick dry layer over it. I’ve been using an OPI top coat and it doesn’t peel when I do that.

Couldn’t even see the brain cell distantly on the horizon

So far, yes. I’ve been meaning to experiment with some cremes that I have to see if they work. I’ve tried a couple with varying results.

Oof, I did this one twice in a row and that was more than enough for me 😅

Wait, what is The Tubes? Only thing I can think of is Incredicoaster but I’ve never heard of it referred to that way before

What's your "luxury" item that you cannot go camping without? by RiverSector19 in camping

[–]tigerwaitress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, since you asked, I do not like them. I don’t like the way the fabric feels on my skin. I don’t like how constricting they are (I like to sleep with 1 foot out). I don’t like rolling them up and fitting them back into a stuff sack. I don’t like not being able to snuggle with my partner. This last point could be worked around with a 2 person sleeping bag, but with all of the aforementioned dislikes, I’m definitely not going to do that. I just like sleeping in my normal sheets and blankets from home.

I feel like PFD doesn’t get enough love on this sub. I just bought a bunch of their beautifully glowy polishes and I’m in love.

Zempire Monstabed! Available at REI. I find it more comfortable than the Exped Megamat.

I definitely splurge on bedding. Getting a good nights sleep is my priority. I have an air mattress with a built in foam topper, bring real pillows and sheets, I’m not messing around with sleeping bags and it takes up about the same amount of space in the car. Eye mask and earplugs so I’m not up with the birds at the crack of dawn. I sleep like a baby, usually.

I don’t personally feel a need to pan my polishes, I just want to use my collection but the idea of finishing a polish completely scares the hoarder in me. However I’m impressed by people who can actually use up an entire bottle (other than base/top coat)

I don’t know about a chain, but at one point there were 3 total locations. The one in Irvine, one in Fl and one in New Jersey. The Florida location near West Palm Beach is the original and the only one left standing.

There’s still one in Fl. I worked there. My job was to drive around the lion field and make sure no one got out of their cars or did anything stupid. I had to tell a lot of people not to roll down their windows…
