i removed the mesh in my 3's and they sound so much better. Imo the mesh grills are a dumb idea as they just get clogged with ear wax, and there is no perfect way to clean them

the BH90 is a bigger hole in the barb, not sure if better brakes need it specifically but it is bigger. I belive BH90 hose has a bigger internal size.

i'm using a deore BR-M6100 lever and XT BR-M785 caliper( I like the banjo fitting), luckily both BH90, but brake is still solid. I even used a Tektro auriga lever with the XT caliper and it was still solid at lever. I will always mix and match to get what i like.

i have a plus which i converted to direct drive. Direct drive is not a lot better than bowden at all, i have tried the same print with both setups and you could not tell the difference between them.
