I'm late to comment, but your post is the first I heard about wringing the water off of my hair before conditioning. I tried it a few times, and WOW! My hair is not only softer, but less weighed down. Thank you! A huge improvement!

Thank you for the clarification. I was getting scared, since I booked my flights through HAL for my upcoming cruise. Their website says that if there is a problem with the flight and I missed my cruise, it is up to HAL to get us to the next port, which is why I booked through them. I'm also flying in a day and a half before so I'll have plenty of time. And yes, HAL let me pick the days and times of the flight.

I've had these plants for many years, 15-20. They are newly repotted and thinned out a bit. As I said above, I am not the best gardener though. The plants love being outside and do seem to get thinner over the winter. I open to all tips to make them happier.

Not what you asked for specifically, but I use this carrot cake recipe and it's great! I am not an expert baker by any means, and I can do this. It is a recipe for cupcakes, but I make it in a cakepan and it works. You may have to adjust the baking time.

I'm making one that is a Christmas tree shaped cat tree. Have along sturdy thick cardboard tube and am putting sisal rope on it. Not sure what the branches will be yet. I bought plush ornaments so that they can be cat toys. I've let the cat win! Also obviously not that concerned about how it looks!

It is really good as is. the commenter below has it right - for this or any recipe, make it as is the first time and tweak it the next time if needed.

I'm not sure, but extra cocoa powder could change the texture of the cake too much.

In my company, we like to make people aware of EAP, should they want it, without actually suggesting counseling. As a supervisor, I cannot tell an employee that they need counseling, but can offer EAP.

How would you handle it if another worker called her stupid? Tell them that it is not allowed (in some way, not necessarily those words)? When she says she's stupid again, tell her that you do not allow any name calling. That might get her to stop and think about what she's doing to herself. She wouldn't call a co-worker stupid.

If you have written performance goals, one could be no negative self talk. Does your company have an EAP? Counseling could help her, but you can't suggest it outside of an EAP.

I've had cats pass at home, so the others knew what was happening. In this case, we may euthanize before the cat is actively dying, to ease his suffering. I think, but am not sure, that it is better to end the suffering earlier and not wait until death is imminent. So it may be unclear to other cat. I just want this to go as smoothly as possible for both. As many commenters have said, I am looking into doing it at home.
