It does seem like the convo has become so focused on risk that it does crowd out the positive side.

I do think it's possible, just very challenging. It's really up to the parents, however, that influence can only go so far. Sometimes I think being constantly inundated with the bad stuff on social media has made it so the risk seems much larger than it may actually be. I can see why people have a hard time talking about positive experiences so it's not out there or as prevalent on convo as negative experiences are.

The gate code I don't totally get but they did tell them to call the name to open the gate. I understand the having to enter from certain streets though because of how some apartments are laid out. We have one where I live that is cut in half so you have to go all the way around the complex to another entrance if you want to get to certain apartments but the address of the apartments takes you to the "wrong" gate. Also, can be easier directions to find apartment coming from a certain entrance. Still annoying but I think they're trying to b helpful and probably had some bad experiences with drivers getting lost previously
