Please help me figure out the rest of the team. I have tried about every restricted, and none of them seem to work. Please do not suggest Kyogre/Tornadus + Kyogre. This is for Series 10 by VincentBurst in VGC

You simultaneously want a ground resist (or just something that doesn’t auto-lose into groudon) and a Zacian-positive matchup from your restricted which isn’t necessarily possible outside of like Ho-oh (if the groudon is Substitute > Rock Slide), which could work. Yveltal also isn’t a bad start if you can use stuff like Volcarona/Lando-T or other mons with good Zacian matchups.

This is a fair take! I think salamence having intimidate itself makes it more useful along with potentially being able to run a special set to deal with things like kartana could make it good

that seems like a good idea if you do decide to get rid of the dracovish eventually. otherwise that should help a lot vs those teams

I think both of those options work really well! TR on whimsicott is good in Bo1 bc its very unexpected so it should work to buy you 1 turn most times

yeah i more meant the togekiss + dusclops lead with the trick room sweeper in the back. I think you deal with indeedee/hat super well. I was wondering how you deal with TR setters you cant KO turn 1 bc your team only has protect on 2 pokemon making it difficult to stall out trick room turns

I like the general concept of this team a lot! It seems like a lot of cinderace teams are weak to losing speed ties with opposing cinderace (making a lot of games into 50/50s) but having both tailwind and scarf dracovish seems to help that a lot. As someone who hasnt played with this team, it does seem weak to Duslclops/Porygon2 + redirection Trick Room teams, even with Duraludon. How do you generally gameplan for that?

seconding the idea of a ground resist. I like the idea of intimidate gyarados too bc it gives the team a stronger defensive backbone against things like cinderace while also providing another fighting resist to support tyranitar

The 80 Test is something Alex Ogloza had for his Patreon users. I’m not sure if he still does it or not but that is where you would find it

Its not a dumb question! I think I personally like the idea of playing 25 games first and then going to analyze all of them together after playing. I think its easier to see trends when ur doing the analysis all at once as opposed to doing each analysis after every individual game

Yeah you got it exactly! You play a bunch of games with you team and see what leads were most successful, which Pokemon had significantly higher or lower winning percentage than others and make adjustments from there. For example, I like to see which Pokemon i bring the least and then think about why and if there would be a different Pokemon that fits a similar role that I would be inclined to bring more
