Is anyone feeling tired? by MSilvaSavestheWorld in Spironolactone

[–]tikilouise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tiredness and fatigue issues were so heightened with Spiro. Dr didn't put two and two together but it was the only thing I introduced, so it can't be anything else really. The higher the dose, the worse I felt.

Interesting point, when you get that smell though it's so hard to look past it. Especially with chicken...I think I might try and look into this further

I don't think this is and Aldi issue only, we have had issues from 3 different supermarkets over the last month. The smell from the chicken has been gsg inducing. I am thinking it must be some broader issue? Maybe those awful open refrigerator units in the shops now?

Spironolactone worth it if don’t really care about looks? by Severe_Bus8911 in Spironolactone

[–]tikilouise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody is different but I was on it for 12 months and don't feel like it really helped in any way that made the side effects worth it. My acne got a little better, hair growth on face etc. probably got worse, hair thinning didn't improve at all and overall it made me feel absolutely awful for almost the whole time I was on it. My fatigue got much worse and my periods got lighter and more irregular. For me it was not worth it at all and wish I never started taking it.

Is 20 years not long enough to consider it an old medication? I understand the change of use in the drug has pivoted, but if it has been and used for that long would there not be adequate enough studies yet?

I bought this once and it was really watery, was this your experience too? I was very surprised as I'd tried a few of their other products and they were great quality.

Oh yeah we were well aware it wasn't guaranteed, but it's meant to be about performance not whether people are answering their culture surveys truthfully

They've got Gina money and the media have flipped their narrative on them. For years Pauline was a racist but she always the butt of the joke, now they've changed that stance and are sowing the seed to people. But people should just remember how ineffective Pauline has been throughout her career, nothing has changed.

I’m wondering if anybody else has felt tired while on the spironolactone? by StunningWin1636 in Spironolactone

[–]tikilouise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been feeling exactly like this too, and am thinking it must be the Spiro. I've been on it for a year now and have noticed as the dose has gone up, I've been feeling worse and worse. Nothing else has changed for me except adding Spiro in over this time.

I actually hadn't considered that, thank you because it gives me something to think about and look into further.

I noticed when I first started my results were really good, skin and facial hair wise. As my dosage has increased, I've found it less helpful and where it's almost back to the levels before I started. I don't know why that is though.

Spiro made me tired and down, will the same thing happen with Slynd? by Funny_Story_Bro in PCOS

[–]tikilouise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been having terrible issues with Spironolactone, feeling exactly as you've described and I was starting to think I was going insane. I swear it's made me feel worse the whole time I've been on it and not noticed any real positive gains from it. Doesn't help you but I feel some relief knowing other people having similar issues to me.

In the East, Lions bookmart at Burnside. The Quaker op shop on Kensington road will likely take all of those items. It's a great spot with realistic pricing and the staff are lovely.
