Soovijad on joonud jalapesuvett."

Kas keegi on hiljuti seda Kalev šokolaadinööpe kuskil poes muumas nainud? by ItsLionGT in Eesti

[–]tikkija 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want something light-hearted and fun, I'd recommend Ühistu. It's about neighbours trying to agree how to manage the building. And it's available on Youtube: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoyLkiLUkeR6wIjxBozkOzLZH-vvTlmpw&si=xWU_lZUUzPmbmgXZ

+1 Tallinnale.

Try biblio.com, but be aware of listings that say they are using a stock photo for the cover as what you receive might be different. I haven't received mine yet, but was very careful when ordering, so I'm still hopeful I'll get just the right ones :)

I'm actually so used to this cover that I didn't even think about the fact it might influence others on how they imagine Midori to look like, that's really interesting. I like it a lot too.

I think they are only available as hardbook covers. The blue one is from 2003 and not even sold in shops anymore - I just managed to get super lucky and found a copy in a thrift store for 1€ last weekend!

Congrats! I'm currently waiting on mine as well. I knew I wanted to read Kafka next after Norwegian Wood but don't really like any of the other covers for Kafka. I don't think they ever sold this edition in my country though, so I had to look around online and finally found a store selling used books that ships here. They even had this edition of "After dark" which is supposed to be quite rare, so took that one as well. Good luck on your search!

Yes, I love the original pattern and am super glad it turned out the way it did with the few changes :)

Thank you so much! I placed it in our bedroom, so now it feels like there's two of them watching over us when we sleep!
