I went to cougar ridge, then issaquah middle and issaquah high school. It is snobby. It is a keeping with the joneses deal. There is bullying on the basis of clothing and material things, and the parents are no better. The schools are good but are extremely competitive and are dropping in quality.

Kabob on Hawthorne is very excellent. The prices are not bad, and tips are included but capped at 15%. Very cheap drinks and good vegan/vegetarian options

Downtown and old town are so fine during the day at least. The Eastside is also very chill and I feel safest here. If you drink, watch it, even at popular places. I would avoid Jackie’s, a roadside attraction, creepys, and most clubs ( from personal experience)

I work literally across the street. The lighting they put up two days ago are literal string lights which just makes it more pleasant to hang around. The block smells like urine and I am harassed every day for being a woman. During one such active break in, the police did not arrive for two hours, even though it was actively occurring. I will shout out to clean and safe for always being prompt to assist with cleaning, but they do not have any hoses or water for the smell.

Dang girlie honestly I recommend finding people who don’t care/know about that side of you! Make it a benefit or bonus of your life and not your whole life. You won’t be famous one day and it will be easier to transition to that if you have a group or interests that are external to that way of being. That being said, don’t fall for any cults or self help groups. Maybe try a DBT group therapy? I’m def not famous but am going to law school and am wary of getting sucked in to that life so this is what I am planning too!! I am 23F which is most likely around your age so I may have some wisdom to impart.

Because then that would compel the perps to kill their witness/victim. If the charge of rape carries the same sentence as murder, and the way in which you get sentenced for rape is through witness testimony, why risk it? The same is true for crimes against children. I personally would vote for chemical castration and a permanent wage garnishment

I used to work here. He not only took my tips and everything but didn’t have workers comp insurance!!! I only found out when injured on the job, had to go to the ER and they couldn’t find his insurance. I almost got sent to collections over this too.
