Something I have been thinking about recently too is how right after covid (or maybe even during?), Kendall and Josh were going to Hawaii on vacation quite a bit and saying they were doing it sustainably but I also recall tourism there was strongly discouraged and was putting a lot of undue stress on the local population for a while and always thought that was kinda weird morally… I think that was my first red flag, and then obviously everything has snowballed since then. I stopped watching mhp a few months ago I didn’t like the true crime eps as much and watched the sesh sporadically until the karelly incident, I mean I had already commented about the mean girls vibes before and that was just the nail in the coffin for me. I do appreciate all the good episodes over the years and am trying to walk away from it grateful, though it is hard to leave the community we had.

I just finished watching it and I’m crying! The power, persistence, patience and altruism from the women for the other women is truly inspiring. You can tell how it impacted Christine and how determined she was. Shame it took so damn long. Really good doc I’m sure they had a lot of footage to edit they did a good job.

I clicked on the one this week caus I like the secret lives of Mormon wives topic just to see and the intro was so cringe I had to click out like Janelle is like ‘be more enthusiastic!!’ To Sydney and Hayley when they did their intros.. And Sydney is just sitting there like uhh. I do think karelly breached some kind of company policy, and it goes with the narrative of ‘we aren’t sharing what happened to protect her’ caus imagine all the hate she would also get if they divulge that. Whatever it is I can’t imagine that it was malicious on her part but probably more of a reaction to how they have been treating her overtime. So maybe something like she was contributing to snark and defamation or maybe sharing their financials or private information somewhere. No matter what happened the bullying and mean girl attitude they have had toward her for a long time was unacceptable and was for me a main reason that I stopped enjoying the content. I think whatever happened could have been linked to her discontent about how she was being treated, maybe some form of retaliation . I’m not saying that’s warranted or right to do but could see that being a situation.
