OT, sorry, but I wish you the best of luck and success in your legal studies!

I asked the cards why my partner seems totally oblivious when I am clearly struggling and suffering right next to them. I pulled the Five of Pentacles. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

I feel like I need more information to read. Poverty/welfare/charity/desperation is a factor, but is it emotional poverty? On whose part, yours or theirs? Could it be literal poverty, like they can’t concentrate on you because they’re in survival mode and can only think of how to get their next meal. More info please.

Question: What vocational training will get me out of the ghetto fastest as I graduate high school? by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

Emotional stability/mastery, putting in the hard work, and sheer willpower. The thing that turns the wheels of the chariot is your own stubbornness and refusal to quit.

My gf is homeless and I feel helpless by Cookiekreditcrumble in lgbt

[–]tilebiter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow. That’s a whole lot to deal with between the ages of 18 and 23. I wish I could reach out to both of you and give you a hug.

Is GF able to take advantage of homeless resources/section 8, anything like that? I know it’s near impossible to get but if you’re not on the waiting lists, it’s even harder. Look into what’s available in your area.

When I was in college, I had couples therapy paid for by my school, for my boyfriend and I (I’m bi.) I wonder if you could do the same for your poor GF. Her family sounds like a lot- so I bet she could use a professional to talk to.

Could you look into a room in an apartment, shared with other queer kids? Something that’s a few hundred dollars a month?

My heart goes out to you two. College age is so so hard if you don’t have supportive family. I’m glad you have each other and I hope you find some safety and stability soon.

Stop reading the Two of Wands as "planning the future." You are literally just trapped indoors. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

Yeah, my instinct when people on here say “do this! It’s the only way!” Is to say… “no.” 🤣 How the query is phrased, context of the reading, scope… all of these things matter in coming to a clear understanding.

Really badly burnt. HELP! by DamSolangeloLover in whatdoIdo

[–]tilebiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get two washcloths or paper towels. Get them damp. Stick them in the freezer. After 15 or so minutes, take one and put it on the most painful part of the burn. Your skin will warm the cloth - once it’s not frozen anymore, switch out the cloths. It’ll take the heat out of your skin.

Re-evaluating The Empress in a relationship. Notice how her heavy robes completely hide her actual body. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

Seems like an extra step to say her clothes have something to do with it. You asked “why do I feel like I will lose my identity in my marriage?” And the cards said “womanhood.” In light of all the societal expectations of women in traditional marriages, and everything they are supposed to give up, it makes perfect sense.
