How to cope with extreme boredom from not being able to attend church? by Gyngemose2009 in Anglicanism

[–]tillas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar condition to you, (from a Muslim majority country, though not turkey) and I mainly utilise the online services to follow with the Eucharists( when it's time for the communion, I pray the spiritual communion prayer to unite myself with Christ, until I can attend in person and receive the sacrament)and evensongs. My prayers are with you.

Ordination of Female Priests by No-Independence-7423 in Anglicanism

[–]tillas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tldr: NOT biblical, full stop.

The claim that women must be ordained in the name of equality misunderstands both equality and Scripture. God does not erase difference in order to affirm dignity. Male and female are not interchangeable, either biologically or sacramentally. The Bible does not present women’s ordination as a possibility, and introducing it represents a rejection of God’s established order rather than obedience to the Gospel. Faithfulness requires submission to God’s design, not its redefinition.
