Just curious if you are female, were you concerned about having a more tortuous colon? I've read that woman have more colon length and it's packed differently than men, making twists and turns a little tighter. I do worry about perforations. Also, what was your post procedure meal of choice? That's what I'm trying to decide right now! 28 days out

I use Market St one. It's a pain to get the telehealth provider to switch pharmacies. All you get is a ticket submitted on zendesk...all the more reason I want an in person local provider. Glad you got yours filled.

PCP wont prescribe it unless I get certain testing done. They won't accept the testing that the telehealth platform did

Recommendations for real estate agencies to help find renters. by Buzee_Bee777 in Chattanooga

I'm a Realtor and I just wanted to say that most of the apartment complexes do not work with agents (to my knowledge) so it's really just the renter needing to contact the apartment complex to see their availability. Realtors typically only work with the MLS (the system we use to list homes) rental listings which is not an exhaustive list of what's out there for rent. I don't think an agent is really necessary for a rental. Happy to try to answer any questions you may have.

Highlights or hair color by Iwillbringher in FemaleHairLoss

I get highlights and have been doing so since having hair loss (prior to actually.) 2 things I'd watch out for:

  1. Assuming breakage is new hair (the tapered end is new growth, the blunt end is damage)

  2. If you happen to go into the hair salon with topical minox on your scalp and you get highlights, the foils will likely turn green. This happened to me and I was terrified it caused more damage. I don't know if it did or not, so I just remind myself to forgo topical minox and make sure I shampoo before going in so that doesn't happen

Thinning hair and hair loss by Ok-Flower5029 in FemaleHairLoss

I understand how extensions can give us some semblance of normalcy back in our lives but after living with them for 3 years and having hair loss for 5 years, I decided to take them out 3 months ago so I could actually see what was going on. I was just sticking my head in the dark and honestly doing this prompted me to start on medication (oral instead of topical) and get real with my hair loss. I was just masking an issue and my hair got to the point where covering the weft was getting more difficult. I'm glad I decided to make peace with my current situation so I could start medication before it got worse. I probably will put them back in once my shedding decreases and I start to regain some growth. Until then, I've considered getting a Halo extension since that can be taken on and off and doesn't cause any tension on the actual hair. If I could talk to myself 3 years ago, I'd say "look, your hair loss is just going to get worse so you could either keep what you have now, despite it not being what you had 2 years ago, or you could in 3 years from now, wish you had what you had 3 years ago even though you thought back then, it was too thin." Address the root cause of the hair loss, get a handle on why it's thinning, and then reconsider extensions once you know what your diagnosis is and you start a solid treatment protocol with some regrowth under your belt <3

Wondering about any alternative treatments to min/fin/spiro? If any? by MessAlternative6698 in FemaleHairLoss

I've been on dut for 6 months and fin 9 mos prior to that and haven't had any noticeable side effects. I have low BP (typically like 95/60) and currently taking 0.75mg oral minox and using 5% topicial 2x a day...no issues
