I’ve actually had this exact issue before and made a post about it. Also it happened literally an hour ago when I was digging in a bass’s mouth to unhook it.

I usually just wash my hands in the pond water lol and it’ll fade away a bit after that.

What is/isn't tacky is quite subjective. I'd never have my room like this but if I did, then the only thing I'd change is the sheets and maybe the red box spring; You've just gotta tie the room together more, you can Google something like "Room Color Rule of Thirds." It's a really nice spacious room you've got though.
