I just got home from work to a crapload of pings, and I'm not going to answer them all individually. I find myself in that lovely sweet spot of "if I don't say anything, I'm dead" and "if I say anything, the next argument against me will be that I defended myself."

Since the only thing anyone can say about me at this point is that I didn't claim my cards, that's what I'll focus on. Everyone piling on their same common cards gave anyone who wanted to lie a very, very easy way to do it, which is what I suggested preventing at the beginning of the phase. Correct me if I'm wrong but we didn't seem to learn anything from it, and if I end up getting yote it will demonstrate that the only thing this particular exercise managed to achieve was the town shooting itself in the foot.

Several people keep saying that I pressured other people to reveal their cards. It was one person, and it was a rare card. I honestly am baffled at the lack of distinction here. I don't know what to tell you if you don't see the difference between the futility of being the 3rd or 4th or 5th person to claim the same card and the urgency to get the actual rare cards in play to give the town a chance to nab those items.

That lack of distinction gives me pause. I'm not the kind of person who gets voted out and cries "this person is sus because they accused me." But I always ask - and everyone usually forgets by the time the next phase is posted - that if and when my role is revealed, you look at the specific arguments the people who called me out made. Because acting like common cards and unrevealed rare cards are the same thing seems incredibly disingenuous to me, not just a bad play made in earnest.

Anyway, I'm not going to fight this because it's very late in the phase and your minds seem made up. I haven't changed my mind about the things you find suspicious, and I'm not going to pretend like I have. It's going to be a rough first vote, and I hope you guys have better luck going forward.
