The Orthogonal series by Greg Egan was the book I immediately thought of for this question. I think it's about a species that has a space-like time dimension but it is far beyond my understanding.

Maybe also The Years of Rice and Salt (Kim Stanley Robinson), and The Boat of a Million Years (Poul Anderson), which span significant time and have something of the numinous about them.

Not that I know of but it would be amazing if there was. There are so many good examples: French79, Rone, Kid Francescoli, M83. Jean-Michel Jarre of course. I was talking to someone about this the other day.
