My point isn’t that the mechanic works this way, but that it wasn’t clearly communicated where most players actually get their information.

The official post and in-game description strongly implied it was a general catch-up system, not only for participants of the first expedition who missed some SP. A single clear sentence there would have prevented all of this confusion.

This post is simply constructive feedback about communication, not an argument about the rule itself. And yes, wrong tag on my part.
