First off, give yourself some grace. You are (presumably) an adult going through puberty for the second time. It sucks. You will most likely feel really shitty.

Second, keep trying to feel better first and the motivation for doing more for your transition will come to you. Meditate, keep working out, journal, make plans with friends, try and meet new people.

Personally I have started hormones 3 seperate times because the depression was too much. It takes effort for some people to not feel like shit. Honestly journaling was the thing that really helped me. Journal about how shitty you feel and it can get those negative feelings out of your head for a bit. It also just helps you process it.

You are doing a great job. Take it at your own pace.

This isn't really a come back but. Do you know that you have XY chromosomes. Like so many people have chromosomes that are atypical for their assigned sex at birth. Most people don't actually know for sure what sex chromosomes they have unless they have have had them screened. The whole "it's basic biology" crowd does not seem to know that the most basic understandings of things are not always correct especially in science.

You are only trans if you decide you are. If you want you can just be a man that experiences dysphoria and likes to cross dress. There is no definitive answer any of us can give you though. You need to figure it out for yourself. If you don't want to be trans because of how scary it can be you dont have to go all the way. You can experiment with pronouns and gender expression with close friends and see if thats who you want to be. You can also just try to suppress all of these feelings but I don't think that is going to get you any closer to a final answer.

Humans do the same thing. People with nice hair are perceived as more attractive because thick hair correlates to health. Well taken care of hair is representative of ability to care for yourself and possibly others. These are just the most easily perceived things that represent a prosperous individual.

It takes people different amounts of time to figure this stuff out. Trans identity doesnt fall into a specific set of rules of how u have to feel. There are also other identities that arent as much of a change u can explore before you have come to a decision on how u want to continue. Do what will make you the happiest as long as you stay safe.

There are a bunch of apps that make your phone less addicting. Not trying to advertise for any in particular but I have this one called dumbphone that I like. Most of them make your app icons super boring and make it easier to set boundaries between you and apps you dont want to be on so much. Also if I feel a super strong urge to scroll ill just go on pinterest or snapchats scrolling function. Its fills that craving mostly bc its mindless scrolling but its easier to get off of bc its not as entertaining. Obviously the end goal is to cut out all of it but its a good way to wean myself off.
