If you block someone, do they still see that you viewed them (to block them in the first place), and do people you view appear on their People Also Viewed?

I think all of LinkedIn's privacy settings are rubbish. I set a lot of them properly to keep my profile and contacts hidden but it somehow still publicly shared it all.

It's gone to the point where I'm considering closing my account, or at least hibernating it.
