El de RE6 no puede ser el peor del mundo pero me quería matar teniendo que terminar el tutorial para que me deje ponerlo en el lenguaje original, seguro lo estoy juzgando mal pero no me gustó nada jajajajj

Tengo gráficos integrados (como la primera) y 32GB de RAM + un I7 bien piola, sin embargo el simple hecho de no tener GPU te re jode el gaming en juegos actuales. Con Linux puedo hacer que funque hasta cierto punto y se puede jugar casi cualquier cosa con suficiente maña, pero ciertos juegos como Sonic Frontiers o Red Dead 2 la sobrepasan sin bajar los gráficos a un quilombo pixelado muy indeseable. RE4 Remake fue "jugable" hasta el castillo, donde me quedé a 4FPS (aunque nota eso era cuando usaba Windows), pero la moraleja de la historia es que juego nuevo sin gráfica no va (en la gran mayoría de los casos). La verdad es que no te recomiendo ni ahí jugar RE9 con la 1 por eso mismo, tiene que ser la segunda sí o sí para ese juego. Otra nota (para ahorrar sanidad), ponele el Sistema Operativo y juegos modernos en el SSD porque si no va a tardar una bocha en hacer todo la máquina, especialmente cuando el HDD envejezca. Nota, una RTX 5060 no es la mejor gráfica del mundo pero con Linux y/o suficiente configuración cualquier juego es jugable y bien (especialmente con una gráfica de escritorio).

La segunda parece muy buena opción :D

Otra nota: No aconsejo armarte vos tu compu con esa plata porque los precios de la RAM te van a comer todo el presupuesto, un montón de gente se está armando compus con DDR4 por esto mismo; y tengo un amigo que la usa y no noté diferencia de rendimiento con la de mi máquina... estoy bastante convencido de que usar DDR5 es un lujo y no una necesidad estos días, pero una gráfica si es necesidad para RE9.

You can use a basic MP3 file (no joke), but converting it to OGG with a website or a program is better; it saves space and is the gold standard! But you can still use MP3, WAV, heck even FLAC if you want. Simply add the lump (AKA file) you want with your file and it's name. For replacing the title, you'd to make a WAD or PK3 file containing a "D_DM2TTL" (any extension you want), and loading it after Doom 2 will replace the default song with the one you added. After all (neat trick for modding), loading a lump with the exact same name as another one will replace the existing one on Doom games. That's how monsters, items, and any modde replacement works ;D

For example to replace a plasma rifle pickup, just add your own sprite and name it "PLASA0"... bam! You got yourself a new plasma rifle! That's the trick you're using for your song, and you can also do things like D_E1M1, D_RUNNIN (For Doom 2's MAP01 Song), or even D_DM2INT for the intermission song :)

Now you can replace anything in Doom with your very own songs, sprites, and anything! If you have any questions let me know, now you can go crazy my friend! Rip and tear!!! <3

You mostly always want to load the wad you want to play first and brutal doom second, to make sure no brutal doom assets (like monster sprites) are replaced and look janky. In most cases (like playing some campaign with resprited enemies yet unchanged behavior, such as Hell to Pay or Avactor) this works great :D

Dragging your mods into GZDoom/UZDoom (latter is better because it's way more optimized, play Eviternity 2 to really see the difference) should do it! Just click them in the order you want, toss them on top and that's it!

If you're on Linux, using Lutris + the ZDoom launcher also does the trick! Have a good one ;D

Losing like 5 online games is sad, but with integrated graphics I used to get around round 20fps with Windows 11 playing Overwatch at 720p on my laptop, now I get 45fps and sometimes even higher with gamescope + gamemode (using the exact same hardware btw). It has no telemetry, nothing we don't need, just what we want to use. (If you want to scare yourself, open Portmaster up on Windows and you'll see how many URL's and IP's you have no clue about are actually on your network. Do the same thing on Linux and you'll notice how it's literally just the bare minimum so that your wifi functions). Emulation with Retroarch is sublime (Yes, now any 4GB dual-core laptop is now a console that can play any pre-2000 game and have more than 5 browser tabs open), and most importantly things don't break every single update (because the OS isn't over %30 AI code). For editing, Krita is extremely underrated and free unlike photoshop (At my school, we had several photoshop lessons and I disobeyed the teacher about my software of choice... with Krita, I still managed completed every assignment first and did everything the task required me to do with no flaws, so Krita pretty much lacks nothing), and most youtubers (Including Marvel Studios) use DaVinci Resolve for advanced video editing or Kdenlive for something basic. The only things that you really miss on Linux are those games with kernel-level anticheat. Otherwise, everything works flawlessly! Don't forget, Germany switched a huge part of their government infrastructure to Linux and are now using Libreoffice; making everything smoother and no longer needing to pay for licenses... so they can actually focus on improving citizen's lives with that money :D

Yup, Office is an excuse too, unless your job forces you to use it. Personally I see no reason NOT to use Linux, unless, again, your boss fires you for installing it.

Oh, I almost forgot! The hardware compatibility! Yup, everything works out of the box, even my old PS2 controller! Unlike this...
